My favorite music store, and they are still in business! I've been shopping at Perry's for many years, and always get great service. They sell and rent good music equipment and instruments as well as buy and sell used equipment! They are also a total music shop that gives lessons to new music students. I recently realized that the last guitar I bought was a pain to play (why it's been sitting in my storage for years.) I was asked to play it and remembered that I never got it professionally setup! I brought it in to Perry's and it was done in about 2 weeks, in time for my first gig with it. It plays so great with no stress on my fingers anymore! Best money I've ever spent!(and it wasn't that much!) I Highly recommend Perry's Music store for all your musical needs!

As a teenager growing up in Lombard learning to play guitar Perry's Music Center was my 2nd home. I would go there for hours and play on the guitars and amps. I got a little better as time went on and started a band and Perry's Music Center supported us in everything we did. I moved to the Plainfield, IL area in 1999 and have not been to Perry's Music Center until Sunday 04/30/2017 as I was in the area for a death in the family. I went into the acoustic room and played on a few guitars - my mind and heart were flooded with so many good memories from the years past. It was a bit choked up , truth be told. I went back today and bought an acoustic for my son and got to talk with my friend Rob. Still the same great guy from so many years ago. As always, great customer service and attention to detail. Perry's Music Center survived the Guitar Center invasion of the Chicago area. That in itself should tell you a lot about Perry's Music Center. Thanks for all the great memories Rob. I am enjoying the Ukulele class that Perry's Music is offering at the Villa Park Library. I have a background in music and find that Rob and Jim have an amazing knowledge of music plus they are excellect teachers. Their store is interesting and full of wonderful instruments. If you haven't been there, stop in and see what they have to offer. I plan to take lessons at Perry's. In one short sentence - Perry's Music is awesome.
