Such a wonderful place. A real treasure. Wish we had more small, character shops like this. Great coffee and all kinds of Latin American staples for sale too! Sandwiches look fabulous too, so will be back to try one.
The whole neighborhood is gorgeous. We grabbed iced mochas which were fantastic and went for a walk. The service was amazing, the people working at the time were wonderful and despite how busy it was, we got our drinks promptly and made to perfection. Limited seating outside, it's a small space but it's a very welcoming, cozy place.
Currently sitting at this Vancouver gem, after me and my girlfriend cycled around Stanley park. The coffee and the sandwich’s are amazing, great price and the girls behind the counter are super helpful and friendly!! Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Totally love this place, beautiful neighbourhood, cute totally unique place, a mosaic of everything Latin both to eat or take away. So go have a coffee with a side or something sweet or savoury and take some unique groceries home. Love the Argentinian alfajores.
Amazing heritage building with a cafe and grocery store. I love the new coffee drinks Caramel Machiatto and Dulce de Leche Iced or hot. Great service, always friendly and welcoming. Just expanded their patio for outdoor seating too!
Super cozy place. A place to hangout and meet some cool neighbourhood people. Good variety of food, baked goods, amazing coffee and you can also get Quesava Poppers. The Poppers are gluten free and local. The vibe is unique, people from everywhere come here... You can find Colombian/Venezuelan Desserts such as Flan and Tres Leches! The locals here are from the UK, Ireland, Australia, Latin America, China and many more exciting places. The place to come alone and meet some locals or a place to hangout with friends. It's just like a Cheers Bar in the West End.
Tiny romantic cafe with great cafe and interesting interior with floor made from pennys! Nice patio front of the cafe to sit and enjoy your cafe. They also have traditional Czech honey cake called Marlenka. Come to try it!
Wouldn't honor their coupon for a coffee that came from purchasing a GC for their cafe before. No expiry date although the coffee was watered down last time I tried it so...
Tiny little cafe and Latin market mostly snacks and sauces tucked into a mostly residential area, but it’s full of character. The woman working the front was so nice and her attitude warmed the place up. No seating inside, but four tables outside. The two near the store are small, but the two on the other side of the sidewalk have seating to accommodate 4-5 people. When I got there for lunch around 12:30 Friday, the tables were all full, but one opened up right when I needed it and things had slowed down by the time I left about an hour later. It’s a nice location to relax for a bit if it's not busy and someone doesn't need the table. One thing to note is that they don’t have reusable house mugs or plates, everything is packed to go, but they do accept personal cups for drinks. I had their Vegan Panini, a Tres Leches Cake, and the signature Dulce de Leche Macchiato. The panini was alright, but could’ve used more filling. I thought I could taste the eggplant, but couldn’t really see much eggplant. The mustard was kind of overpowering and probably would’ve been less so if there were more vegetables to balance it. I think their ingredients were good quality, they possibly just didn’t really know the right ratios for a vegetarian sandwich. The tres leches was the thing I had the lowest expectation for only because it was in a fridge to grab yourself and was packaged in a plastic cup, but it was possibly the best tres leches cake I’ve tried. The layering was so nice and I really enjoyed the light caramel-like flavour. The macchiato was also very good and the foam on top was cool. With a name like dulce de leche I was expecting very sweet but it was a pretty medium sweetness level. Their espresso is really good, I think even without the flavour, it’s very smooth. I’d say generally the prices are really good. The panini $10.5 was a little expensive for what it was probably worth because there wasn’t a whole lot of filling even though it was a good size, but the other sandwiches are similar prices and look like much better deals. The drinks and baked goods are pretty affordable compared to other coffee shops downtown!
This place is very cute, and has good coffee but their pastries are good awful. We had the single worst lemon bar, one super dense flavorless "scone" its borderline offensive calling what I was given a scone, and a mediocre coconut macaroon. Honestly the extremely and unnecessarily THICK layer of confectioners sugar on top of the lemon bar should have tipped me off but I took the risk anyway. Stop for coffee, go elsewhere for snacks.
