Another hidden gem that I found recently. Food are very homey and delicious. Forgot to take pics of food lol obviously I was hungry. The owner is very friendly and happy to explain and share if there is anything you would like to know about their dishes. He even taught me how to make Turkish coffee. After talking with the owner, I believe the way he cooks and ingredients he used are high quality and healthy. By the way, if you like tea, Saffron tea is a must try. Highly recommended. Hope you can have a wonderful experience there.
A great cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal. The Lamb Kebab is fantastic and the Kofte is the best you can get. The staff are very friendly and the owner is so nice. He even played piano and sang some classic Turkish, Azeri and Persian songs I highly recommend this place
Wow! The food was amazing! The eggplant was a huge surprise with complex flavours that made for a great starter. But the kebabs...wow just wow. The were simply amazing. And the host was such a good guy, who explained all the dishes and was genuinely nice to talk with. Definitely coming back soon and I highly recommend giving Caravan a try.
The food was delicious, everything was fresh and flavourful. The owner Reza was very friendly and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was wonderful, with Persian music and all decor from Iran. Top spot for dinner for sure!
I honestly don't know anything about authentic Turkish/Persian cuisine, but the food seemed very authentic and rustic. The cuisine in general is not my personal cup of tea because I'm not a lamb lover most of the entrees are lamb dishes, but it's a unique experience and I've returned more than once. Yes, there are non-lamb dishes, appetizers, and breakfasts. The owner is very kind and attentive, the decor sets a pleasant tone, and the live acoustic pianist just soothes my cares away. Really enjoyed the saffron tea with saffron rock candy stirring stick.
It was such a treat to eat at this wonderful establishment. Our waiter was attentive and informative and made it such a personable experience. The food was absolutely incredible. I would have posted pictures from our feast but we enjoyed it so much we forgot to take pictures until the Turkish coffee came. If you’re looking for a different kind of meal this is the right place. Such unique & delicious flavours and absolutely astounding service. We will be back!
Been here once and came back again for the amazing food! If you're a fan of Persian food or just food in general I suggest you try this place out, they have such friendly caring staff and amazing food. They offer a variety of Persian dishes as well as some unique deserts, the staff was even kind enough to give us some free desert after dinner! The seating is very relaxed and comfy, I'll usually take a nap after eating because of how homey it feels. I had the Chicken plate that comes with rice, a salad and this amazing juicy chicken!
Family owed very cute spot. The food is very tasty. Lamb shank, kabobs, steak kabob and chicken were all declious. The service delay is to be expected with a small venue.
First time trying Persian cuisine at the recommendation of a friend. It was quite different and yet familiar from other foods I've tried is best how I can put it. We started with a cold mezzo platter which consists of olives, eggplant dip, hummus, feta cheese and bread. We also had lamb abgoosht and caravan special shish kebab which is also lamb. The owner was kind and attentive and provided good service. He may also give you a small dessert and ask you to guess what it is haha. Thank you!
Tried Persian food in multiple restaurants in lower mainland, but this place felt more authentic to me in terms of ambiance and taste. The Kale Pache ... Very rare to find in my locality beats the menu of all, their desserts have good value of taste... Will recommend everyone who loves meat with the authenticity of middle eastern cuisine..
