Welcome to Carambola, located in the heart of Hudson. Come indulge your senses in a new concept of fusion. At Carambola two things are of equal importance- quality food and a creative atmosphere. The blending of these principles combined with European techniques and International cuisine create a dining experience unlike any other.

Since 2002, Carambola’s passion and experience for fresh and local food is incomparable. Composed of ingredients such as filet mignon, duck, rack of lamb as well as fish and seafood brought in daily. The possibilities are endless and there are no rules. Make sure to bring your favourite wine when you come to discover what your senses have been missing.

You will be in for a treat!nnThe FOOD is simply to delicious to be even described, flawlessly prepared, and served with an amazing look! As we say in French; “Ont mangent avec les yeux “.nnBe certain to not only take “one plate” but a serving of multiple tapas to taste the full menu…nnOMG! You will be blown away! …. Let me remind you this is our second time around and I’m pretty sure you won’t get to the end because it’s that delicious! you will want to finish those plates nnEvery plate is a full blown discovery and experience for your taste buds…nnI mean I travel for living and have tasted some of the best places, let alone I cook pretty well and….. Portabella’s menu, team, and drinks…. just blew me away.nnNow …. Don’t get me started with the ambiance of the restaurant.nnA bistro style, Laid back, family oriented, fun, and composed of a passionate team of people …nnThe crew is just simply amazing hands down the best place I’ve been and best team to be with.nnNow, don’t get me wrong; I can be selling this place 100 times over but it’s is your to discover !nnDefinitely worth the turnaround and or even the detour !
We went for lunch and ordered the vegetarian wrap and the lobster quesadilla. They were both delicious, full of flavour and very fresh. Will be back! Thank you !
Lovely staff, nice menu options. Tried a little bit of everything and we were not disappointed. The seafood platter was a great value and everything was delicious! Would definitely go back when I’m in that neck of the woods again!
First time trying this place but will be back!nnI’ve had many steak tartare in my life and this one was one of the best I’ve had, on top of fantastic value for the price! nnMy girlfriend had the steak sandwich which was awesome, with a tasty Cesar salad included that’s big enough to be a plate on its own. Again fantastic value!nnLobster sliders were just as good, as well as the cocktails and beer!nnGive this place a try!
Magnificent little spot, kitchen crew is making miracles in a tiny nook of the restaurant.nnShane, our waiter, made us feel like absolute VIPs throughout service.nnCelebrated our 20th anniversary there and will be making it a regular spot moving forward.nnCheers to all
