Lovely Room! interesting plot and different levels of difficulty to resolve the mysteries around the room! Our group of 10 enjoyed it very much! a tip - time flies when you are in that room! Thank you Captive Escape Rooms Toronto for the fun hour! - Team Isolocity
I just went last night for a friend's birthday and boy can I say what an amazing experience I had. We tried the Blind Tiger and it was such an immersive experience with challenging puzzles to solve and the best part was that there was never a dull moment! Every second of the hour was enjoyable. Big shoutout to Agi for taking care of our group and being extremely patient with us especially with the number of hints we used. I can't wait to come back and try the other rooms!
We are a group of 6 and we did the Charlotte’s antic room. Staffs are super friendly and they are really helpful with the booking process i really am grateful for their help. The puzzles in the room are fun and challenging. I would say that we had a great time together and the antic atmosphere was right on point with the storyline. It is just that the ventilation might not be the best and if you are a big group, it might be a bit cramping together in the room.
They were nice enough to extend our start time for our large group. Clear instructions were provided with a story line. We completed the Blind Tiger escape room as that was only room which accommodated 12 people. Each time we were stuck, the staff assisted. That particular escape room was immersive, lots of different ways to seek out clues. We couldn’t beat the best time of 40 mins Tips: GPS leads to the spa down the road. The escape room is closest to the bbq chicken. It’s the stairs leading to the upper unit. Communicate with your group. Clues might come in other ways focus on all senses
Played the Blind Tiger Speakeasy with 7 of my friends on a Thursday night. We had a great time and were pleasantly surprised by how many puzzles there were to solve and how thoughtfully they created the game. There were 3 staff that helped us out and I very much appreciated that they were able to accommodate one friend that was running late. The rest of us started the game and he was able to join us after. For large groups, I'd highly recommend Blind Tiger Speakeasy since you could reserve it for up to 12 players. I liked that I would make a payment for 8 of us at the time of booking, and if other friends wanted to join, they could and they would just need to pay for their admission at the time of arrival. Thanks for a great time Captive Escape Rooms!
We were three people and did 13 doors. The waiting room was great, there was coffee and board games. We had to wait a little because we arrived early. The escape room puzzles were okay. The room was small, nothing surprising or exciting that made the experience memorable. There weren't any high tech gear. Mostly just the regular locks with numbers or words. The staff was really nice. In summary, it's an okay place. The rooms were small, puzzles were medium level good for beginners, very direct. The room/decor felt cheaply made.
Fun experience, wanted to do another room right after! We had done 13 Doors. Can't wait to come back and try something else. My group had fun and were able to escape in time. We ranged from 10 years old to 40+ and we were able to work together to solve it all!
Pros: The place was nicely decorated, and finding it amidst the "BBQ Chicken" signs was a puzzle in and of itself, haha! The service was great; the staff were enthusiastic and accommodating, and they even gave us a bit of extra time near the end, which was very generous. Cons: Our student club went for Dracula's Library, and unfortunately, we felt that it was too crowded for the 8 people maximum that was stated on their website. Considering how linear the puzzles were and how small the rooms were, we all agreed that it'd be more appropriate for 4-5 players. Also, I wish there was more variety to the room than just figuring out lock combinations, of which comprised ~80% of the puzzles.
This was my first escape room, I was hoping I will feel in character and have to think deep to solve the mystery but it was all the same type of number puzzles. I wish it was more interacting. We arrived 30 minutes early and the staff was nice enough to let us chill on the couches and take pictures. There was 4 of us and we were all small so without giving it away anything, last hint needs long arms so we were bound to fail. There was a fan inside the room which made a lot of sound, it took away from the scary feeling. They should have had creepy music or sounds. We played the charlottes attic. It had minimal props and a little creepy but if it wasn’t totally dark it would have been boring. We never finished it so they were nice enough to give us 20 minute extra. It definitely wasn’t worth 30$. There are a lot of touching of little items that I don’t think were sanitized because the staff went in for less than 5 minutes without any cleaning equipment after the last group and said it was all ready for us.
This place officially has become my new favourite place in Toronto so far! I went with 8 other people and it was truly a fun experience attempting The Blind Tiger escape room! With a bunch of well designed rooms to choose from, the choice was tough, but it sure was one that I’ll never forget! 100/10 Would go again!!!
