Good size portions compared to the other restaurants in the area. The food was warm, and very tasty. Definitely will be returning here again. Also was decently priced, not overpriced compared to other restaurants near by.

We loved it! Huge portions and excellent service. Pricey, but every place is. We enjoyed the stop. All the restaurants were packed the night we stopped and they were exactly what we needed! Ice cream was good and big portions, and the onion rings were so good! Very fun little taste of local charm.
Super place to eat ice cream! small park for kids. Medium soft cream is like 4inch and small is 3inches. Too big for 3Years old kid : not that much expensive for the quantity and quality. Poutine was good. Lemonade is a bit too sweet and processed for my taste. There's a reasonable amount of seating area, which is good - as you'll want to sit when you wait the 20+ minutes for your order. Don't expect things to be quick - even if they are not busy.
Fell I love with this place on our recent trip to Cavendish. The gals working were so warm and friendly and the food was great. Expensive, but so is everything in Cavendish. Portions were huge. We can't wait to go back and eat there again.

Ya gotta get the captain burger! Just sensational. Chicken tenders and the hotdog were also top tier, as was their soft serve. The milkshakes could have been a little thicker, but otherwise, a perfect dairy bar supper.
Very unorganized. Long line ups for both ice cream and take out food. Looked like 3 people working. Took 15 mins to go through 7 people. It took 25 mins to get my order of e chicken fingers, only 2 orders ahead of mine. After 15mins waiting when I went to ask how much longer the group were standing around laughing I was took it will be right up "I think" it was another 10 mins and when I finally got them they were so over cooked. Never will I go back, not worth the long wait for not properly cooked food. The experience was close to an hour.
Absolutely filling!!! Family of 6 and we couldn’t finish our meals!! And the prices were very reasonable!! Well worth it! Kids also enjoyed the mini playground while waiting!!
