Gone here twice, first time we had a bad experience. But second time we had a good experience. First time I had a burger, it was full of hair, all the staff there were bald except for the server Who was very nice by the way! Props to her!, where did the hairs come from!? Second time we got fish and chips, very good. Might come back, friendly staff, ok food.

We have lived in Kingston for 5 years and have heard great things about Captain George’s. We finally went last night. The fish and chips were top notch! Our server was beyond top notch!!! Samantha made us feel like we were her best friends from the moment she first came to our table. Food quality is very important and Captain George’s gets a 5 star rating for that. Samantha is 10 star. There are several good fish and chips restaurants in the Kingston area but only Captain George’s has Samantha. For this reason, we will be returning. Thank you Captain George’s for a great dinner. God Bless you Samantha.

Fish definitely has a different batter than before. It was much smaller & very dry. Most fries were burnt & pieces of lettuce was brown. This was our favorite place to come to for fish and chips, but not anymore.

Was a nice meal. I arrived for lunch and I was satisfied with the meal I got. The servers were extremely friendly and the service was quick. Me and my friend ordered the daily special Saturday which included a Clam Chowder Soup and a 1-Piece Halibut with Fries/Chips. The clam chowder was okay. It was pretty runny and wasn't thique. Adding a pinch of salt, pepper and a crushed cracker helped. Tartar sauce was delicious; however, the fries and fish were only satisfactory. The halibut was definitely fresh, but the batter lacked a bit of flavour. Lemon helped a bit, but I wouldn't rely solely on lemon to make my meal better. Tl;dr 4/5 - Food was alright - But the quick and friendly service gives a +1
