Looking for fish and chips in Port Perry, we grabbed Captain George’s off a recommendation. It was exactly what we wanted - delicious fried fish and chips! Easy to order ahead for pickup and cute decor inside the restaurant.
True enough, the batter for the fish was awesome! The crisps were the higlight of the entire thing. Portions are generous, great service so satisfying! Overall, an extremely pleasant experience. 10/10 will visit again.
Love this place . Have had the pleasure of eating here 3 times now. Portions are great usually get a side slaw and halibut w fries. If you call ahead or place your order in store there always quick. Fish is not oily and not overly battered. Keep up the good work ladies.
Very fresh fish and yumm chips/ fries. The packaging for to-go can be made better. The poutine lacked cheese curds. Over all a good value place. Enjoy ur lake side fish here.
The Best even after all these years! It's worth the drive from Niagara Falls! Thx Gayle and to the blonde lady who cooked our amazing Halibut and crispy fresh cut fries!!! After a walk around the port Perry market and waterfront, I was looking forward to my fish and chips. I have to say they were the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Lots of chips, light crispy batter around a thick piece of haddock. I'll be back sooner than later
