A cozy place in the middle of a busy midtown business area. We were seated in the heated covered patio which in my opinion is a lot better than the crowded interior. Service was great and prompt, our friendly waitress recommended a great bottle of 2016 Brunello which we loved. The food very well presented and delicious. A small miss on the veal chop which was not cooked to our order. The manager was nice enough to discount the plate. Other than that everything was as perfect as they could be. Will definitely come down to try more.
The food was ok. The pizza had a nice thin crust but very few toppings, especially considering the price. Our server was friendly, but the manager was not friendly at all, from welcoming us to later serving. He brought our food but didn't clean the table after the appetizers. They also mixed up our pizza with the other table but didn't even say sorry. So this pizza was sitting on a neighbouring table, and he just placed it on ours without a word. Overall, we didn’t feel welcomed and won’t come back.
4.7. Great Italian midtown spot- been there for a really long time. Fresh, bright vibe, and friendly servers. The food is good with many classics on the menu- great for a team lunch or an intimate dinner. They have a lot of seating including a heated patio that they utilize through the winter. The pizzas are great and the food came out quickly! The pepperoncini are also delicious. It’s not a cheap spot, but not crazy, pastas are all around $30 and pizzas are between $23–$30+. There is no specific lunch menu and they often have specials. Gluten free options are available.
Great Italian restaurant, food was flavourful and fresh. Lots of dishes to choose from, portions were generous and staff were attentive. Aesthetic is definitely on point, they also had an outdoor heated patio that is open in the winter
A welcoming and vibrant setting! This restaurant has become the go to place for the working professionals in the area. Patios are nice and so is the indoor space with the choices of decoration and plants. The staff are quite attentive. Unlike the traditional Italian restaurants, they have gluten free and good choices of vegetarian options. The TAGLIATELLE AL FUNGHI pasta was quite tasty and came at a large portion, priced accordingly.
Amazing food, highly recommend 50% off wine Tuesdays! I really appreciated the kitchen getting our food out ASAP so we could make it to our concert on time. I will definitely be back.
I began my Capocaccia experience with an aperitif, a half-hearted Boulevardier. The decor is pleasant and inviting. However, the space is overcrowded with tables and chairs. Shared a reimagined take on an Insalata Cesare. Opted for the Branzino, deboned. My dinner companion had a flavorful pizza. I had an unmemorable dessert without a latte that never arrived. I won't be rushing back. Wheelchair accessibility: It was difficult for my friend to exit in his scooter because the dining area was overcrowded with tables and chairs.
Exceptional food, drinks and service. I can say this was the best Italian food experience I’ve had in Toronto so far. We loved their cheese and meat platter. Every ingredient was so fresh and delicious. Buratta was amazing and octopus was cooked perfectly, very tender. Their cocktails are very creative and unique too! Unfortunately, they don’t serve one of their top cocktails from last year I don’t remember exactly it’s name, but it was “Garden … something”. They promised to add it back to the menu :D so check out on your next visit : This was the most unique and delicious cocktail I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommended!
Food was great and flavourful, especially the steak and the octopus. The inside dining has a nice, romantic ambience with both covered and open patio options. Everyone was pleasant except when my friend ordered gluten free pizza that came back not gluten free so when she asked to have it sent back, the waiter who brought her the right order looked at my plate and said "I thought you said no gluten and you have bread on your plate". Umm what?? There were 5 of us at the table and he wasn't the waiter who took our order so not sure why he made that comment... and regardless, if a customer orders something one way which btw my friend had to pay $5.00 extra for gluten free, then there should not be any comments.
Great food, summer patio and drink selection. Our server recommended a great wine. Relatively affordable for the area.
