Finally had an opportunity to try this place with my hubby. Started with the Honey Gem Lettuce nice twist with pesto. Second course was the Meatballs with olives tasty but the meatballs were a bit over down. The Third course was the New York Steak with peppers & potatoes. Cooked Medium. Final course Dessert the Olive Oil Cake with Figs and Pistachios. I liked the cake my hubby not so much. We will back again to see if the consistency stays.
I'd recommend giving this Italian restaurant, in downtown Everett, a try. All the dishes were tasty, glad we shared and were able to tried many dishes. The portion is a bit on the smaller size so prepare to order more than one dish to try.
4/5 only because of the service. Heather was trying to push me out the second I walked in. I had a reservation, but that’s irrelevant anyway - if you seat someone, you commit to serving that person until she’s finished unless you make a time limit clear upon entry and there was no such thing. I was literally there an hour and Heather brought my check after I asked for a wine list to have another glass of wine. That being said, the food is phenomenal and I’d absolutely go again if I knew for sure that the owner/ management isn’t to blame for Heather’s way of working.
Had the best time at capers+olives tonight. The serive was out standing. We always felt taken care of and never wanted for anything. Absolutely top notch service. The owner also intervened to find us a table even though everything was reserved. The food was amazing. Amongst the best Italian we've had in the area. Would definitely come back.
Nice place in Everett. Tiny and fills up pretty quick, reservations are a good idea. Overall delicious! all the food we ordered was fantastic. The burrata was amazing! We tried Strozzapreti and Bucatini, really good flavors. My son ordered the NY steak, medium rare, they brought it rare to the table and already cut we prefer the meats uncut, but they fixed it and it was very tender and juicy. Drinks were superb! Great service! Didn't care much for the panna cotta. Not cheap, so be prepared- Coming back for sure!
Pretty decent place and the staff really gave their best effort. The prices aren't over the top expensive which was nice. Overall the food was pretty good even though each dish had at least one thing wrong with it. What bothered me most and stopped me from being able to give 5 star review was that the shrimp was very overcooked and the burata was overpowered with garlic. But that wouldn't stop me from going back and giving them a second chance at redemption.
Adorable little place. Patio space limited. Exquisite. A truly fantastic dining experience. Authentic, phenomenal, yummy food in a cool space. Great service, wine, appetizers, and mains. Dessert the panna cotta was not my favorite. I recommend ordering a bunch of dishes and sharing. They sellout quick so plan to do dinner earlier than usual to catch all amazing dishes. Reservations are a must!
This place was fantastic we went 2 nights in a row. Some highlights are the meatballs, Burrata, Focaccia Bread, Bucatini, and best of all the duck. If you never has duck before try it here it was fantastic! For dessert get the Lemon Semifreddo. One of the best places i have ever eaten at. I was shocked how low the bill was! Please try this place.
Capers + olives is one of the best spots in Everett! I've been several times when I visit the region over the past few years and have never been disappointed! I am particularly fond of their traditional Italian cocktails and their delectable flavor pairings for both dishes and drinks.
Guys, I'm so sorry the picture shows almost gone food. It was seriously so stinkin' good I totally forgot to take pictures before devouring!!! There was also an order of bruschetta that was eaten before this that didn't have a chance to wait for a pic! The sidewalk seating is quaint, the staff is friendly, and the food is spectacular!!! Don't come here. I don't want to share the space.
