Lovely place and great customer service! Our server was Morgan and she was AMAZING!!! What a beautiful person!! I have no idea why people left some not so good reviews about the food but it was amazing! May be they don’t know what good food taste like! Try it; you won’t regret!!
Mediocre menu at best. To add insult to injury, they wouldn't seat a party of one outside because they "can't see tables for 1 outside in the patio". So you're telling me, that you'd rather refuse business and gamble that your table gets filled with a party of 4 during non peak hours? Over-priced for what you're getting, truly. I went to The Lark instead and had an amazing experience. Alex, one of the co-owner was hospitable and did a full introduction of the menu for me and crafted and excellent experience. The pictures are from The Lark, not from Capers. Will not return and will not recommend.
They are not taking reservations at this time so you have to wing it first come first seated. We were seated and sat there for 15 minutes while I watched staff by the bar talking with each other and checking phones. I always give them the chance to notice us at a table. Nope had to go to the bar and ask if anyone was serving tonight We ordered the salmon special and a fantastic appetizer. The appetizer was a crb thing and it was great. The salmon arrived and it was completely raw in the middle we sent them back and they cooked us 2 more. It was great.
I've dined at Capers twice now and both times have been meals to remember! Every dish is fantastic, the drinks are great, and the staff are very friendly. The live music makes a great atmosphere. Zero complaints!

Service: We were greeted like family. Attentative and friendly. Food: Small, but Excellent menu to choose from. From vegetarian to burgers...full of Flavours. Cauliflower and Brussel sprouts are to die for!! We got to personaly compliment the Chef Vegetarian options: The Romesco Cauliflower is huge in size and flavor!! Parking: Convenient Street parking available.
Great venue, live entertainment, easy parking, made this an really enjoyable night. The brussel spouts dish was amazing. Lost a star only because of pricing related to the charcuterie board. It was great quality meats and cheeses, but just a little extra variety and unique items would align it better to the price.Food: 4/5
Found this place at random while driving down 401 and looking for a place to have a decent lunch. What can I say, I'm thoroughly impressed! Great service, sophisticated food - and a moderate price tag! Went for the BBQ brisket and tuna ceviche, with artisan greens salad and truffled fries. All were nicely presented and tasted awesome. Finished off with chocolate/berries ganache which made me consider ordering another one! :- Overall, I now have a go-to place in Belleville!
Usually full five is rare, just always room to improve. Make a reservation this is a busy spot. We waited a uncomfortable lobgvtome at door to be greated and sat. If I was not meeting my daughter and friend I would have likely left it was that long. Once seated the device was great. Chris was friendly and informative. Seemed like he sincerely liked doing what he does. We started out with a sharing of dishes. Charcuterie, crawdads, fried Brussels. All was excellent with great presentation. Lots on the charcuterie and great portion on the crawfish. Chris checked in on us several times and kept the cocktails filled. After so much app we shared a burger and a 10oz strip.
Service was awesome. Entrance : try the nachos and the meatballs. Food delicious. 10/10 Desert was good. 4/5 nothing special just cheese cake. Try the red wine merlot. Chile Live music was just terrific. Definitely coming back.
