Story

CanvasMart is a full-service tarpaulin and protective coverings manufacturer headquartered in Calgary, Canada. Founded in 1972, we have built a strong reputation based on value, service and quality.

Our professional staff fabricates custom products utilizing top quality canvas, vinyl, mesh, polyurethane and PVC industrial fabrics.

In our early years, we serviced mainly the trucking industry with high-quality tarps and accessories. Our trucking customers remain an important part of our business to this day; however, we weren't in business too long before we started branching out to service other sectors.

Boating and other recreational hobbyists soon starting tapping into the expertise of CanvasMart's seamstresses and it wasn't long before we were one of the leading fabricators of custom storage, travel and snap-down covers.

Being in oil country, we have also worked hard to become one of the chief suppliers to the oil and gas industry. Our custom rig covers dot the landscape all over Alberta, Canada, the USA, the Middle East and Russia.

In recent years, we have become one of the main suppliers of industrial shop curtains, track and trolley roll curtains and washbay curtains in the sectors we service. Our products are top-of-the-line, our service is unmatched and we offer high-value to our customers.

Our philosophy is simple - we buy high-end materials and supplies in bulk and pass those savings on to our customers. We may not always be the least expensive supplier, but we are confident we are always the best and we know we offer the best value. Our bulk purchasing allows us to sell the highest-quality products at competitive prices.

All of our custom products are made inhouse in our Canadian plant and most of our stock items as well. The products we do import have been chosen for their high quality and high value, and meet the same standards as our custom products.
