I LOVE THIS PLACE! Went there to get some studying done and change up my scenery a bit. Got there at 9am on a Sunday, stayed until about 12pm. Had their latte and brunch. The staff is so nice, the food is delicious, and everything is vegan . I know this sounds weird lol, but you can really taste the love that’s put into the food. This is one of my favorite spots. I will definitely be a regular customer.

I've been going to Canela for years, beginning from when Veronica started the business at farmers' markets. Veronica and her team are exceptional and make the best sweet and savory bakery items I've ever had. I recommend trying anything and everything! They also have great gluten-free options! I wish I had more photos to share, but I keep eating everything so quickly.

Love the incredible variety of delicious savory and sweet options at Canela! I've also ordered ahead for pickup using the online store for family gatherings/events and I am always impressed with the excellent service. If you're local, don't miss out on this lovely vegan cafe, and if you're visiting the city, be sure to add Canela to your "must visit" list! The new location in Inglewood also has two fantastic accessible washrooms. A++

We ordered their famous vegan carrot cake. This cake is one heavy cake and it is not cheap Close to $80. I had to order the cake in advanced. So I recommend you do the same if you are wanting a vegan cake. After reading all the positive reviews I decided to place the order. Also a quick tip is to keep the cake cool. if you are not going to eat it right away, I would leave it in the fridge and take it out about 30-40 minutes before eating. If not the icing will start to melt. The cake was very dense and was very good!! could't believe it was vegan. Did not miss the egg or the dairy at all. The cake was so moist and the icing was delicious. It was the perfect cream cheese icing replacement. I'm pretty sure it was made of coconut cream and the key was to keep the cake cool enough temperature where it didn't start to melt. I wish the cake looked better for presentation. It was just looked like a plain cake. The decoration in my opinion was lacking. Overall it was a hit, Our guests loved it and kept raving about it. We had 8 people at our dinner party and there was plenty left over.

Easily one of the best bakeries and cafes in the city. A must visit whether you're vegan or not. I used to avoid vegan baking because I thought the different ingredients would taste weird but honeslty if you blind folded me, I wouldn't have known at this place. Coffee is Calgary Heritage Roasters so you'll never have a bad cup of coffee. Staff and owner are all very friendly and the interior is beautiful and I love that you can watch the bakers in action.

Have been wanting to come try this place for the longest time and finally did! I came here with two friends, one of them was a Vegan. We ordered the spinach and ricotta rolls, a peach danish, and a lychee cruffin croissant-muffin. They all tasted fabulous! We also each ordered more items to go. We had a wonderful time chatting with good food. I had the matcha latte which was filled with green tea flavour, love it! My friend enjoyed her coffee. I wish the counter staff would have packed the to-go cruffin with the taller plastic box although I am all in for paper boxes. The paper box was too short so the top of the cruffins were smashed. Good thing we were just buying treats for ourselves not as gifts. I felt it hurt the nice presentation of what they originally looked like though. Overall, very happy with the food and experience.

I first tried the Canela location off of Macleod Trail, and fell in love with the amazing cinnamon buns. I love the location in Inglewood even more! Such a great, bright space and in a great spot around so many wonderful local shops. I find it much easier to get to, and the parking situation is much better than the Macleod location as well. Although all the baking is vegan, you would never know it. The taste and texture of the baked goods is unbelievable, and the cinnamon buns are definitely in my top three favourite in the city. The coffee americano misto or lattes are my go to is also amazing. Must try!

BEST vegan cinnamon rolls in town! You can find a variety of different flavours. Plus now they are being served warm which is a plus for these cold days.

Canela is THE place to visit if you're craving vegan pastries! Their cinnamon buns alone are to die for and their staff are just as sweet as their cookies! I love that they have seasonal drinks and I will forever cherish their London smog beverage! It's hard to pick a favourite item as everything is so tasty and reasonably priced! I'm looking forward to their new location in Inglewood!!!

What a find, the only Fully Vegan bakery in Calgary! Coffee is perfect, love the atmosphere. So many treats, settled on the sausage roll AMAZING!
