I recently visited Canadian Tire and was impressed by their exceptional customer service and wide range of product selection. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make sure that I found what I was looking for. They were patient in answering my questions, and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. The product selection at the store was extensive, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of unique and high-quality items. From electronics for cars to home accessories, there seemed to be something for everyone. The store was well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed. The displays were attractive, and the merchandise was presented in an appealing way. What stood out to me the most was the attention that the staff paid to every customer. They were courteous, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about providing a positive shopping experience. Even during busy periods, they remained calm and collected, ensuring that every customer received the attention they deserved. Overall, I would highly recommend this franchise store to anyone looking for a great selection of products and top-notch customer service. The staff members are a credit to the company, and I look forward to visiting again in the future. The Christmas addition items are nice but expensive and do some damage to the wallet.
Bought a string of Outdoor Christmas Lights on Dec 15th as the set I bought last year wasn't working. I was able to repair the old set and tried to return the recently purchased set on Dec 21. Was advised there was a 'no return' policy on Christmas items after December 18th, no exceptions and the customer service manager was pretty insolent. I've spent a decent amount of money at this store over the years, they've lost a customer for life.
I went to Canadian Tire to buy a toaster my old one the wirering worn out. I found a one for $49.97. But when I looked a little further I found a sign for a toaster $27.99 on sale even better. I asked the sales attendant if there's anymore in stock she said no but the Canadian Tire at Grant Shopping Mall has them. She called them and asked how many 33 in stock. I asked them to send one to Polo Park Store they said No for sending and to Holding it for me. So I went there by Bus. I got one it was $21.93 even better the Total was $24.57 It was cheaper at the Grant CT. CT was 0.37 I bought that on Jan 06/2023 only 18 days ago. It's a Sunbeam it has realese, temp, bagel button and removable tray. It doesn't get hot to the touch. It's a good value & a good brand. If you hurry you maybe still able to get one. Hope this review helps.
Don’t go to the Grant Park Canadian Tire if you don’t want to be accused of being a thief. Apr 6 2023 6:00PM / Grant Park Canadian Tire / I was walking around the store browsing when numerous employees began approaching me. All were told that no assistance was needed and yet they continued to follow me throughout the store. At one point, a middle aged male employee awkwardly got in my way at the end of an aisle. I greeted him as I passed and he said nothing while staring at me. This same employee then decided to follow me directly from the front of the store to the lawn & garden area. Literally minutes after getting in my way and staring at me with no greeting, he decides to stand and the end of the aisle and watch me. By this point I have had enough, I respectfully said; “Hey man, could you stop following me throughout the store? I don’t like being accused of stealing.” He said that he never accused me of anything and that my request for him to stop following me was disrespectful because of my use of the word “man”. So he is either a boy or a woman?? I’m really not too sure. After he informed me of how disrespectful I was being to him , he then accused me of “loitering” in the store! He immediately called over a security guard and forced me to leave “his” store. Following and harassing your customers is unacceptable behaviour. If you believe somebody is stealing, you could get into the 21st century and use CAMERAS. And yes, following customers throughout your entire store with 6 employees and a security guard is accusatory. This profiling of your customers needs to stop today. Or not, I don’t shop at places that accuse me of stealing lol
Outstanding customer service at the Grant Park location. Both Morgan and Kelly, at the front desk were professional, helpful and prompt at analyzing the situation. Thanks to both of them for going that extra mile to provide such excellent customer service. I will look forward to shopping at this location in the future!
Canadian Tire is a great place. When I brought my vehicle in for some minor work, they went above and beyond and didn't even charge me for the extras. On the retail side, they have all the charm of a thrift store treasure hunt, but with brand new items. They seem to have a little, and sometimes a lot, of everything.
I’m quite a frequent customer at Canadian Tire and it was my first time at the Grant Park location and I couldn’t believe the rude customer service I received just to exchange staples for my staple gun. There were two young ladies at customer service shaking their head and side eyeing me? For what reason, I don’t know. And the lady who helped me out just basically felt like she hated her job or didn’t want to help me at all. Will not be going to this location again, hire some joyful employees because that was an awful transaction.
Actually had someone assist me with electrical parts I needed. This location's staff have always been friendly and professional. Clean, well organized store.
One of my favorite places to shop. Cookware, camping gear, sports gear, automotive parts and service, cleaning supplies housewares and now that spring has sprung seeds for spring planting.
I had a bad experience here years ago trying to get my Honda fixed. Went again to get a couple things Home Depot didn't have. Canadian Tire didn't have them either. Clerk's response was website isn't accurate. And they make my hubby leave his bag at customer service. We're done with them.
