I am really disappointed by the customer service of auto department here. Workers are rude. My appointment was scheduled for 11 am . I came 15 minutes in advance and now it’s 11:50 my appointment is not done yet. I told at my workplace I will be back soon after getting my oil change but it’s really disgusting they don’t do work according to the scheduled appointment time. I asked the cashier again when it will be done he said they are bringing the car now at 11:40 . So means here they don’t do your appointment according to the time provided . I am really not coming back and this location again. And the cashier told it’s going to half an hour wait to get it done. Please however reads this review. It’s really not worthy to get your oil change from here. Go to other service places in the town. I will post the time when they finished the oil change . I will share my appointment details .
I purchased a clearance fireplace which the store manager John gave me a decent deal cause there was Nick‘s end dings, however, when I was supposed to pick it up, he was off sick. They could not locate it in the warehouse or anything like that and I ended up having to leave for a vacation for a week got home. Someone else called me and I told them I wanted it. They located it. I went to the store to pick it up as their employee was loading it into my car they broke it. I went in. I spoke to the manager on service at the time she gave me an additional $30 off claiming that John had already given me the fireplace at below their cost, which I knew at the time having worked in retail for many years was an absolute lie and misconception, but I really liked it. I really wanted it so I went with it. Having said that I got home. I made sure everything was put together properly noticing that in the hardware the handles for the doors were not there. I called immediately spoke to a manager. She said she would get back to me. It’s been over two weeks. She did not get back to me. I went in store today. Spoke with John who I made the original arrangement with. He told me to get measurements and he would try to find me handles for the door. Got home called him asked if I could send pictures of the measurements and everything. He told me no and that he probably couldn’t get me handles even though when I was in store talking to him, he said he would! Ultimately, this was still a $300 purchase and their customer service and accountability has been deplorable! It is likely that I will go to Sturgen Falls travel to Sudbury before I ever go back to the Canadian tire store in North Bay. I paid $300 for something that was not only broken but does not have all the parts and now they’re telling me I gotta figure it out on my own. Absolutely disgusting customer service.
I visited this store to return a pair of shoes and receive a refund, and the customer service experience was extremely disappointing. One staff member was very rude and spoke without basic manners. Although she explained the return policy, her tone and attitude were arrogant and disrespectful, making it feel as though she owned the entire Canadian Tire store.nnI have never been treated like this before at any store.nnLater, while I was purchasing other items, she again interrupted and tried to lecture me about the refund policy, even though the matter had already been clearly addressed. This behavior was completely unnecessary and highly unprofessional.nnI have already reported this incident to the store manager and sincerely hope appropriate action is taken. No customer should be spoken to in this manner.nnMy suggestion to other customers: if you are making a return, ask for a senior staff member or manager to avoid such unpleasant experiences.nnCustomer service should always be respectful. Store policies can be explained professionally without showing disrespect to customers.
This is a really nice store. Too bad they do not hire more people that are skilled in their departments.nAlso, i used to enjoy being able to actually look close at the guns for sale. Now they are up hi on the wall, behind a counter, and covered by big metal bars that block the visibility of the guns to the extent that you cannot even tell what you are looking at.nTheir gun sales must be gone right in the toilet with this set up.nOtherwise, it is one of the nicer stores to shop in North Bay.
The auto service I received was top notch. I was travelling cross-country when my muffler gave out. I dropped the car off in the morning without an appointment and got it back around 1pm. I was so stressed the staff was reassuring and kind. Thank you so much again for the excellent service !! I made it home safe.
