***Update. I was contacted by the store and Maureen, the Corporate Case Manager. I was provided with a refund for my latest order, which I greatly appreciated. I've increased my rating from one star to 3 stars because Canadian Tire fixed the issue and made things right. Now if only the store could fix their customer service and management issues...*** This is a terrible Canadian Tire location. They never answer the phone had to drive an hour to discuss the return of an online order from their store, reps seem put off when asked for help, and 2 online orders from the store arrived used and damaged. One time, I had to speak to the manager Mike about one of these problems and he was extremely rude, unprofessional, and obnoxious - there are many complaints about him, he should be fired. He actually had the nerve to make excuses why his staff does not answer their phones saying that he does not have enough staff and the store is too busy, which is a poor excuse for bad customer service. When I told him I left three voice messages, he tried to blame the girl at the front in customer service for not responding to voice messages. This store is an absolute disgrace. Several days ago I ordered a car battery booster see pictures. The shipping box was mangled and the item was used and damaged. The seal on the box was lifted, item was dirty and scuffed, and parts were missing. There's no quality control at all, the battery NEVER should have been shipped in this condition by their warehouse employees. So once again I need to drive an hour to the store to return a damaged item. I'll never order online from Canadian Tire or the Sechelt location again. Very poor service and quality control.
Just had to say to all patrons involved were awesome today when I was looking for the unfindable bike for my son and the massive planer that was still in the back of the storage somewhere.. Also the very patient ladies at the till and the one who even helped me to the car with my heavy kart. Thanks to all for the kind and diligent service! Hats off to you all!!
Went today to Canadian tire in Wilson creek was enjoying my day until I got outside and realized I was charged $367.99 for a dehumidifier that’s suppose to be marked at $199.99. Went back inside to understand why I was charged so much when they told me I grabbed the wrong one I went to the area I picked it up from and took a photo went back to customer service to an EXTREMELY rude woman. The woman told me I was wrong then had someone bring me another one FROM THE SAME SPOT I PICKED UP MINE!!! Now let me tell you how frustrating it was to have this woman tell me they are different even though the machines are EXACTLY the same took pictures and later looked it up again to find out I spent over 45 minutes in Canadian tire today because someone was rude and obnoxious. Then to top off my fun experience the AWFUL woman at customer service tried to tell me my phone number was wrong and that I was wrong and that I should open my eyes!! This woman should be fired at the minimum when I asked for a manger I was told no! PS when they do I return and say the money will automatically go back on your card immediately they are lying
I was visiting Sechelt last weekend and had a very positive experience with the staff and manager there. Ran into car issues, and was checking out my car in the parking lot when the manager - Mike parked nearby and asked if he could help out. Mike, and a younger gentleman there helped assess the issues with my car, and they were very helpful.
In-store they're great, wish they'd answer their phone though.... I just read the response to my review, to be clear the four stars was because you do not answer your phone very often if ever... Reading the other reviews this seems to be a problem so I've dropped it to 3 stars. LISTEN TO YOUR CLIENTS AND ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN PPL CALL, AND I'LL UPDATE THIS TO 5 STARS IMMEDIATELY IF I HAVE SOMEONE PICK UP THE BUSINESS PHONE WHEN I CALL
Looks as if they have thrown in the towel at this store. No effort to merchandise anything, just dump it in the aisle. Most aisles are impassible and are hazardous to small children.
I have been to Canadian tire stores In nearly every province across Canada. This Canadian tire takes it for the worst store I have came across in Canada. To put it simple, there is no organization, look through the window at where they should be repairing vehicles. It’s just inventory overflow. Well I was waiting for ever to get service I watched a old man ask about purchasing tires. He was told he had to go online! This guy was in his late 70’s if I had to guess. Pure laziness and the store wasn’t even busy. Being that this is on the coast and options are slim theres nothing better than checking availability online, showing up only to find out they can’t find the items. At least the staff looked like they’re having a good time sitting around making small chat rather than doing there job. One fellow I believe named Dave was really helpful but apart from that experience this store in an absolute last resort. Ownership clearly has given up
If I could give 0 stars for this location and their management, I would. I had the absolute worst experience at Canadian Tire in Wilson Creek today involving customer service and the store 'manager'. The most rude and unprofessional employees I have ever encountered. I prepaid for an expensive knife set over 10 weeks ago, and went in today wondering when the product was coming in. In the many weeks of waiting, I accidentally misplaced my yellow slip needed to pick up a prepaid item, but I had pictures of the receipt and slip on my phone, along with a history of my payment in their computer as they had ordered the product for me. Long story short, they refused to give me the product or my money back without having the yellow slip - even though I told them I had misplaced it, and had a proof of purchase on my phone. The women at the customer service counter was extremely cold and unpleasant, but the store manger was outright unprofessional, rude, and utterly OBNOXIOUS. He told me I should keep better track of my receipts, and that I was simply out of luck - and they would be keeping my money until I could find my receipt. Worst of all, he told me I clearly don't know how to run my business, and that I should go 'tell my accountant I lost my receipt' - even though everyone who runs a business knows digital receipts are a perfectly acceptable and often times more efficient way of keeping track of expenses. Now, I'm left with no product and no way to get all of my money back. Absolutely disgusting!
I've been looking for tires for my 2009 Pontiac Montana ...always out of stock......every sale I check on the web ....out of luck...tires gone 15 minutes ago... ???
Spent close to 30 minutes wandering around looking for help. Eventually I had to approach a cashier who was great for help. The aisle labelling seems like a suggestion at best. Aside from the tool section no where else seemed to have any thought go into what should go where - it's a mess. I'll definitely order online next time, if there is a next time.
