Great store but only having the customer service desk to pay at is brutal. Why build several tills of you aren't going to ever use them.nWaiting 20 minutes to pay for your product is unacceptable.
Found everything I was looking for in one stop shopping. Prices were great and staff was very friendly and helpful
My husband and I ordered two back pack hockey bags online to gift our kids for Christmas. Upon opening the locker which held the bags, 1 was still in a plastic wrap bag with some tears in the plastic. The other bag was not in a plastic bag and had multiple spots of dust and scratching with a rub on the seem appearing to be compromising the seem. We asked if they had any others or what they could do to rectify this issue. The ONLY suggestion provided by the sports department manager was to wipe it clean with a damp rag when we got home as these were the only two they had in stock. Funny enough multiple other stores had the bags and we ordered from another store after returning the bags. We are highly disappointed with the lack of caring for a customer and not attempting to properly fix the situation. We honestly wouldn’t even give 1 star based on this particular experience currently from the Wainwright Canadian Tire. Other staff and other experiences in the past have been great.
Decent place to shop, but I've had multiple poor experiences there, in the last 6 months. Certain staff members are very confrontational and tend to belittle customers, specifically when staff not adhering to voluntary sales practices I.e scanning code of practice. Shopping shouldn't be a painful experience, and the staff shouldn't be giving attitude over totally neutral situations.
