Very disappointing experience at this Canadian Tire location.nnI parked in the customer parking lot, went directly into the store, made a purchase, and came back to my car within around 15 minutes — only to find a parking notice on my windshield.nnWhen I went inside to explain the situation and showed my receipt, the manager Samson immediately assumed I must have left the parking lot and repeatedly sided with the parking enforcement staff instead of listening to the customer. I was then left waiting at the counter for over 30 minutes while they reviewed security footage, with almost no updates during the process.nnIn the end, the footage confirmed that I NEVER left the parking lot and the ticket was cancelled. However, despite the fact that the notice was clearly issued in error, there was not a single apology for wasting nearly an hour of my time or wrongly accusing me.nnWhat made the experience even worse was that when I asked multiple times for written confirmation that the ticket had been cancelled, Samson repeatedly dismissed the request and acted like he did not understand what I was asking for. It was only after another employee stepped in and suggested giving me a photocopy that he reluctantly provided one.nnWhat upset me most was not just the incorrect ticket, but the attitude and lack of professionalism throughout the entire interaction.nnBe careful parking here, even if you are a legitimate customer. Keep your receipts and be prepared to prove yourself if they incorrectly ticket your vehicle.
I ended up going to the auto repair in this Canadian tire this morning. My car muffler fell off my car and was dangerously hanging less than an inch from the ground under my car. I don’t usually go to this repair shop but it was the first one I saw next to the airport. I went in and was greeted by a very nice team. When I told them what happened. They did their best to squeeze me in and were supper helpful, and honestly really awesome! The manager in particular who goes by the name of John was so kind and made a great impression on me. I would recommend any of my friends to go there if they ever need auto repair.
Don't go there as their return policy sucks. I bought a Black and Decker espresso machine. It takes so much time for the machine to warm up but the coffee that comes out is still not warm enough. I brought it back for a refund but the manager there said their policy is that once the product is opened, they cannot refund it as they cannot resale it. I said if I did not open the box and tried it, how would I know the product was not working properly. The manager said he agreed but could just give me a store credit. I will never make any purchase at the Canadian Tire now after knowing their return policy as they don't appreciate the customers but just want to protect their own interest only.
Really wide collection of items ranging from super glue and duct tape to Kitchen appliances and home stuff. I read the name Canadian TIRE and thought it would only be car related items but glad to know they have everything you could need for your home in this area.nnThe people I spoke to were also really kind. I needed help finding packing tape and some glue and the lady actually walked with me to the aisle I needed. The man at the checkout was also sweet and let me borrow his scissors and helped me pack a box that I needed to ship out.
I had a very concerning experience at the Canadian Tire location today.nnThe cashier who served me was noticeably rude and dismissive — no greeting, no verbal communication, pointing at the POS machine instead of speaking, and tossing the receipt at me.nnWhat made this especially concerning was the immediate contrast in how she treated the next customer, who received normal and friendly service. The difference was obvious and difficult to ignore.nnThis raises serious concerns about consistency, professionalism, and how customers are being treated.nnI have already spoken with the store manager, who responded professionally and stated the matter would be addressed. However, this should not be happening in the first place, and it reflects poorly on staff training and oversight at this location.nnAs a visible minority, experiences like this raise serious concerns about whether all customers are being treated equally.nnI hope meaningful action is taken to ensure all customers are treated with basic respect.
