Apil was an absolute pleasure to deal with at Canadian Tire. His customer service was exceptional - friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. He clearly had excellent product knowledge and was able to answer all my questions with ease. What impressed me most was his in-depth knowledge of the store itself - he knew exactly where to find everything we needed, saving us a lot of time. I highly recommend asking for Apil if you’re visiting this location!!!
I had a very disappointing experience with the auto parts department. When I went to pick up the tires I had ordered online, Zahib, the staff member assisting me, told me they were final sale and couldn’t be returned. I mentioned that the website didn’t state this anywhere and asked what I should do if the tires didn’t fit my car during installation. His response was shockingly rude—he simply said, “This is what it is. I don’t care.”nnTo my surprise, I later found out that Zahib is actually the auto parts manager. It’s unacceptable for someone in a leadership position to have such poor customer service skills. This experience was incredibly frustrating, and I won’t be returning to this branch again.
Purchasing any electronics including air conditioners are NOT recommended here! No refund even they don't have same model replacement for my newly bought defective item! I have to purchase higher price product! However, the staffs here are very nice to help.
I would give -100 stars to the whole team of this location, especially the staff go by the name “WEI”.nnMy family and I went to purchase a Segway C2 electric scooter as a Christmas gift for my daughter today at 6pm. From start to finish, the experience was beyond disappointing.nFirst, we used the store’s screen to locate the scooter, as we don’t shop here often. The screen instructed us to request staff assistance, so I approached the nearest staff member. Instead of helping, he questioned why I wasn’t in the scooter section and then reluctantly walked us there with an impatient attitude. He told us to wait, which we did, and another staff member eventually brought the scooter to customer service.nAt customer service, I politely asked the first staff member who later called himself “Wei” who was just finished assisting one customer to show us the scooter so my daughter could see it. He completely ignored me, walked away, and refused to help. When I approached him again, he rudely told me, “I don’t work at customer service; go find someone else.” His tone was hostile, and he even got in my face as though he wanted to fight me until another staff member stepped in to de-escalate.nThe second staff member tried to assist but was told by the customer service representative, with a dismissive look, that we couldn’t see the scooter. The rep said we could only rely on the pictures on the box and that if we purchased it, we couldn’t return it unless it was broken and within 30 days. We left the store feeling frustrated and unwelcome.nI understand policies exist, but how does it make sense to expect customers to buy a scooter without seeing it first? The rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff, particularly Wei, made the situation even worse. This was easily the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I doubt I’ll ever shop at this location again.
Avoid This Auto Service for Tires and Warranty ClaimsnnBeware of this auto service center and their tire warranty promises—they’re nothing short of a scam. Here’s my experience:nnI purchased tires in 2022 with a six-year warranty and an advanced protection plan. Recently, one tire went flat, and I went back expecting them to honor the warranty. Instead, they refused to repair or replace it, citing vague excuses. It’s clear their approach changes drastically once you’re there for a warranty claim compared to when you’re making a purchase.nnOn top of that, I asked them to install winter tires they had in stock. The quote? Over $400, including labor and mounting fees—far from reasonable.nnTheir practices feel deceptive, and their focus seems to be on finding ways to charge more money rather than providing the service you paid for. I strongly advise against using them for tires or any automotive services. Save your time, money, and frustration—look elsewhere.
