Canadian Tire Automotive Service

When we went to the Canadian tire due to a fuel leaking situation, the Canadian tire billed us 405$ just to inspect what the problem was ‘taking out the fuel tank’ to see the problem inside The things is after the inspection, they told us they need to replace the whole fuel tank to fix the problem saying which would charge around a 1000$ Since it was way to overprice we bought the fuel tank itself from somewhere else and the problem here is after telling them we bought the part. Later in the evening, they called us saying the cars done and it’s all good to go We had to refund the fuel tank which extremely annoyed us but we just went along. After driving the car for certain time, suddenly out of no where a creepy scratching sound appeared and checking the bottom of the car they took off the bolt stabling it and taped it instead.

Absolutely awful. I didn't have 1 pleasant experience here with anyone in the automotive department. Very rude and shady. Would not recommend anyone use them if you have other options.

Gave me wrong brake pads twice so ended up ruining rotor

Went there for an oil change and the biannual inspection, they gave me a 1200$ estimate, with a "else we gonna have to do a failed inspection" So i told him im not paying that, I'm going to get a 2nd opinion, at this point the guy at the car service desk start to sigh and give me attitude while billing me for the inspection and oil change, almost threw the bill at me and loudly called next as a final "get lost" Funny thing is i went somewhere else and they asked 300$ including the inspection to fix what was needed to make it safe back shock absorber and exhaust brackets When I showed the other mechanic what Canadian Tire wanted to change on my car to make it pass the inspection once the work was done, he started laughing, CT wanted to charge me a full exhaust system when all i needed was 2 support brackets. They also wanted to change parts that are still in good working condition and the WORST is that the car was low on oil after the oil change.... AVOID THIS PLACE unless you are looking for over billing and half done work.

Absolute farce of a garage. Ruse management and poor service in general. Tried to tell me my shock was broken flush and pushing against the frame of my car. When i told them ill bring it somewhere else for a fix was there for a quick oil change they told me it couldnt be drove it needed a towing. Agter driving it to another garage, they told me their was exactlt nothing wrong with my car and ive been driving it has is ever since. Pushing a year now

Very bad experience. I took an appointment for my car maintenance however they don't bother me to call as I was delayed by only 10 minutes. They gave my appointment to somebody else.

Good location with friendly staff

The guys in the shop are nice there is guy he is and don't remember his name but he is always so kind
