I spoke to the same person Rudy, and I was assured it was the correct part. When I showed up, I spoke with the real JR who turned out to be the manager and had no idea what I was talking about.nAnd guess what, WRONG PART.nJR barely apologized.nService recovery?nWhat's that?nCustomer service clearly doesn't mean much there.nLooking for auto parts?nI recommend ANY other auto parts store in Ottawa.nAutoShacknPartsourcenBenson'snNapanEven the dealer.nIf you have a shop, I recommend Transbec.
I will never purchase from CAPS again. The experience I had with their refund and return policy was extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about how they operate. I was told by staff to buy the parts, take them to my mechanic, and that if they turned out to be the wrong ones, I could bring them back for a refund. When I did exactly that, my mechanic confirmed the parts were incorrect. Despite this, CAPS refused to refund two of the items, claiming they had been “used,” even though they were simply checked for fitment.nnThis kind of behavior is either a sign of a deeply flawed refund policy or a company struggling to the point where they are unwilling to return customers’ money. Either way, it is unacceptable. When a business promises a refund, they should honor it without making excuses.nnCustomers deserve transparency, accountability, and respect. Based on my experience, CAPS failed on all three fronts. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this company to be cautious, because once they have your money, you may not see it back—no matter what you were promised.
I had an excellent experience at CAPS Canadian Auto Parts Service thanks to Rudy. He provided outstanding service and even get me a discount on my tire mounting upon my request, which I really appreciated. Rudy was very helpful and made the whole process smooth and pleasant. Highly recommend his service!

In fact he's the only one I can depend on to go the extra mile to find what I need, so I can keep on getting miles out of my old beater vehicles. Always friendly and cheerful, takes the time needed to help out as best possible.
