Today was my first time to visit the place and I had a blast educating myself on Canadian sports legacy. As a basketball fanatic I was intrigued with Dr.James Naismith works that was on display. It was very informative for me. He was a genius and now it has been a global sports. I would absolutely recommend for families especially with kids to visit and learn the rich history of Canadian sports. How I wish I could be a hall of Famer too.
Very interesting and moving, see the very detailed and well made video at the beginning of the trip really put you in the mindset to want to see and hear about all these people, even as someone who's not super interested in sports. SAIT got us into a special tour of the behind the scenes areas so we got to see all the archived collections that haven't been seen by the public yet. Very interesting, and everybody that works there were very friendly and informative. This is a very cool non-profit organization that is doing their best with what they have and deserve all the recognition.
It's pretty fun to go check out all the exhibits you can see how technology has changed and what people have influenced changed in the sport. All in all it's a huge place with a lot to learn
Great facilities and exhibits, not that big, but worth checking out. Be sure to watch the movie, it plays every 30 minutes. One question, why are the Howe and Orr jerseys from 2015?
As the owner of Cybertech360, I see technology used everyday in a wide variety of organizations. CSHOF far exceeds the “average technology”; utilizing sophisticated technology systems to power the interactive exhibits in this state of art facility.
Very wheelchair friendly, nice flow of exhibits, good amount of things on display and to interact with.
really cool place, with lots of history on a wide variety of sports. they have a lot of exhibits for all different types of stuff, and the staff are always very kind and helpful. a great place to come and learn the history of canadian stars, and the history of lots of different sports. awesome museum!
Terry Fox items alone woukd be worth the price of admission. Lots if interactive exhibits for kids.
Honestly, I wanted to love this - I'd been waiting to come here since it opened. However, we were really disappointed. About 95% of the interactive exhibits were out of order, which made this really not a great place for our kids age 3, 5 and 7. Thankfully I had a coupon to get my entire family in for $20 - even then it was a disappointing experience!
Great little museum, a must do for every sport fan.
