Camping Orléans

Unique campground right on the main channel of the St. Lawrence approaching Quebec city. Well organized and good facilities with good attention to services. The main drawback for most of the site is the lack of 3 utilities. No waste water disposal is a serious draw back. Hauling a 32 gal. plastic portable bucket up a steep grade behind your car or tow vehicle is not necessarily fun. There is an engineering solution for this that would meet environmental standards. At the rates charged there should be an effort here. If it wasn't for the site location this would deter a lot of customers. Another star was removed because the camp sites are very small and there is little supervision provided to ensure campers do not encroach on their neighbours. They should clearly mark the boundaries of the sites or lead campers to them to them on arrival and explain. We had a serious encroachment upon arrival of the second set of campers during our stay.

Camping was okay. Dont come here expecting nice quiet tenting. The spots are tight packed and noisy. Plenty of facilities including a pool(which has inconvenient hours) and a store. Not my type of camping.

Facilities of a 3 star camping. Why charge 1$ for showers when it's already overpriced... not worth the drive.

Very warm welcome, attentive service, usable wifi, clean showers and washrooms. Lovely location from which to explore the island.
