Quiet, woodsy site but worn out an not modern. Poor WiFi. Low pressure water at times. Grounds not well maintained. Old. Entrance ugly and worn out. Friendly and helpful owners. Surprisingly busy and cramped in front "lot". Nicer in "F" section but no WiFi.
We stayed 2 days at the campsite and it was good. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Took the busacross the street from campsiteto the ferry which took us to old town Quebec. Very easy. Owner was very friendly and helpful and spoke English really well. I would give this a high 3 starService: 4/5
A very clean, spacious and quiet campground. Long term camping area was tighter, but that's usual and not a concern for those of us passing through. The owner a tall order gentleman, was gracious and generous. His assistant wife? Was efficient but curt and nowhere near as patient. English is a second language in Quebec, and while most enjoy practicing their English, some seriously resent outsiders. We loved our stay in Lèvis, with all it's sites and architecture and this campground was a big part of our being able to see as much as possible of this lovely town and Old Quebec City across the river.
Other reviewers are right. The place is in need of an upgrade. Look a bit shabby but it was quiet and safe There are not too many spots that you can park an RV or trailer then visit Quebec City. You can take the bus to the Quebec-Levis ferry across the street from the entrance but be aware you have to cross what can be a busy road and the bus does take 40 minutes. For a couple, bus fare is $7.00 both ways plus the cost of the ferry which is about $12.00 return passage. My suggestion is stop for a beer and a bite at the pub close to the ferry
The place needs a lot of caring. It's one big gravel parking lot. You can only get WiFi if you sit in a tent the owners have erected next to the office. The whole place is over grown with weeds. The two saving graces are the owner and his wife are very nice people and the proximity to old Quebec City is less than 20 min.
Nicest people in the world own and run this place. The city bus stop is directly across the street and it takes you to the ferry to go across the St. LAWRENCE River to Quebec city. Very clean, big sites, 3 way hookups, everything works. Tiled patio pads. The owners are friendly and beyond helpful. Great location.
A great place to stay! The campground is clean and well maintained and the owners are very friendly. The campground is located just a 45 minute bus ride away from Québec City and everything you need grocery store, dollar store, Tim Hortons, Subway, etc...is within walking distance. Spent 3 nights there but could have stayed longer. Thanks for everything! We will be back soon
Loved the place. The warm friendliness of the owners, the nice sites, leveled, with gravel and a concrete patio, the convenience of its location and Levis, the town it is located in. Easy to access and perfect for visiting Quebec. The entrance to the campground looks quite deceiving, it is more of a storage area. The pull thrus are long in an open space where our satellite antena had no issues. Will definitely be back.
This campground is conveniently located for easy access to Quebec City. Second time staying here. The campground is located between highway 20 and the St Lawrence River. You can definitely hear the traffic. Didn`t bother me but it could if you're a light sleeper. Very warm welcome from staff during check-in. Georgette is very friendly and has tons of useful info regarding stuff to do and see in Quebec City. Tent sites are bit small but grass-covered. Bathrooms and showers are quite grimy with spider webs in the ceiling corners. Could really use a good cleaning. Doesn't seem to be much security patrols during the night. Folks on the site next to mine stayed up drinking and being loud until 5 am. Not cool.
Conveniently located off of the 20 and only 20 minutes drive into Québec City. The driveway is a bit hard to spot from the main road, but the park is spacious and well laid out. Pull through sites have ample space and a nice tiled patio with new picnic benches. The restroom and showers coin operated are in need of cleaning and updating. The WiFi is not reliable and signs you out routinely, forcing you to log back in. Directly across the street is a Costco and down the road an IGA. Overall, a suitable campground for location and ease of getting into the city and on to the next destination.
