The idea is good but the camping wants to much money giving not so much. Crowded tent spaces, dirty washrooms, crew that yell to kids! Loud noise from the highway, but this is not their fault. As I said the idea is good but they should go back and review in some points the service provided.

CONVENIENT TO STAY BUT PAYMENT/BOOKING/CHECK OUT/STAFF A PAIN We stayed in the Hawk's Den which is one of their cabins at an amazing rate of about $300 a night all in (YIKES!). But it was the best option out there if you don't have an RV and don't want to tent it. Like my caps title says, it was convenient, and the Cabin was pretty nice. The booking was a pain. The website isn't the easiest to use, and although they charge you extra people over the 6 person base rate, you can't pay for that in advance, even if you call in to try. At check in, the lady was nice enough, helped us get an extra tent site ($50 a night, not cheap), but she never told us anything about the cabin and even failed to give us the key. Only when we came back to get the key did she say: -Wash all the dishes -Take out all the garbage -Leave the bedding and linens We looked in the cabin, on line anywhere to see if we could get something in writing to show exactly what we need to do. No luck so we just took the ladies word for it. However, they only give you one dish cloth and no drying rack. So we did the best we could after cooking for 7 people and washed all the dishes and left them on the counter to dry. Of course we took out all the garbage and then left to check out. The lady at the check out not as nice. I would describe her as power trip girl. She now says -Did you use the BBQ? No it was garbage we used our own -Wash all the dishes ? Yes -Take of the bedding off the beds? No we were never told to do so. So off we go back to do the strangest thing as we were told to take the bedding off but to leave them on the bed? Whatever, if that's what power trip lady wants that's what we'll do. So we do all this and go home thinking all was well, but look at our credit card statement and see a $25 charge. I call on a Thursday to ask what that's about. She says its a cleaning fee because the dishes were left on the counter and there was garbage in the washroom. I can guarantee there was no garbage as we had the "luxury" of doing two checks before we left and the dishes on the counter ? Come on, what else were we supposed to do with no dish rack and one dish cloth to dry? She said she would leave a message with the manager to call me back. Friday passes and so does the weekend. I call on Monday and leave another message because this elusive manager is no where to be found. Tuesday passes no call. I then leave an email to the Camperland on their website. To date no reply. Of course since they don't have a direct email contact, but only a website contact page and they don't give an email confirmation of your contact it is possible they never got that email. Long story short, out $25 more after spending $300 a night with no response whatsoever from Camperland management. I wouldn't recommend staying there. You could be lucky and not have to deal with the staff or payment issues, but that's highly unlikely.

We drove out to see the grounds and book a stay. We were told that only requests were accepted and no specific sites are assigned. We were trying to ensure the site would hold not only our motorhome but also a car. We were also told request are just that a request not a guarantee. We felt unwelcome and the front staff were not helpful in any way. They also stated they raise their prices the busier they get. We booked elsewhere where they like customers and are not afraid to show you the exact site you are paying for.
