Had a plumber come today from Cambie Plumbing to fix 2 leaky toilets. 1 hour of labour and parts, no overcharge. Fellow was very efficient, fast, and courteous. If I need service, I would definitely call Cambie Plumbing again and I would recommend them.
Cambie Plumbing and Heating Ltc. was fast to respond and very accommodating with their appointment time. The technician they sent was professional and personable, and was able to resolve the reason for the appointment immediately, and even completed an additional plumbing task for me during the hour long appointment. Overall very pleased and would definitely used again. Recommended!
I had some boiler service done by them 3 months ago. When I got the bill for the work, they had overcharged me in both hours worked, and the hourly rate. When I called to asked about this, I was told their rate is $200 per hour and has been for years. Their website shows $125 per hour even now. I told them I have another service receipt from them 6 months earlier and was charged $150 per hour. They were speechless. Because of this, they agreed to refund me the difference and was told a cheque would be sent. I've called back multiple times about this but still have not gotten any refund. I would not recommend this company unless you like to be lied to and overcharged for work done.Service: Water heater repair
We've been using Cambie Plumbing for years. I've always found the staff to be friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. They always do great work and have never had to recall them on same job.
I highly recommend Chris if you need someone to address an appliance problem. I was having ongoing issues with my fridge freezer and he solved the problem in less than 2 hours. He is incredibly professional, prompt and just a really nice guy. Things that I appreciated about his services: 1. He responded to my service request within 24 hours. 2. He was able to give me a specific time for an appt rather than "btn 1pm and 5pm," for example. 3. He was respectful of my home. 4. He answered all my questions and explained the issues to me in a way I could understand. 5. Chris was very honest and I had no feeling that I was being ripped off or given inferior service. This was THE MOST IMPORTANT thing for me. 6. Finally, while Chris was here servicing my freezer, I had a water leak from the apartment above. He stopped his work and took photos/video of the leak for me, as I was out at the time. Chris went above and beyond what I expected. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending his services. I am very pleased with his work and my functioning fridge freezer!
Initially very friendly but long delays in returning calls, never finished the job, could not find a 10 year old bath tub faucet cartridge, I paid for a complete job and never got finished. They got mad at me because I was not home on a week day with no notice to have an american standard rep come look at the faucet - despite me having the manual and part diagram for them.
Got the contact from the BCAA website where they had a good rating, but was pretty disappointed on the service with regards to respond time and follow up from the main office. The plumber on site was very nice thou.
Very good service and quick to respond to an urgent request. A nice neighbourhood business. Happy to recommend them to anyone.
rudest secretary iv ever spoken to! she literally is a horrible person to answer the company phone!
