We recently used them to create a large custom bookshelf for the basement and it turned out amazing. Tinda helped turn our idea into reality. It was really neat to see her build it on the computer then render it into 3D on the spot. She had some really good ideas to keep the cost down, but also practical ways to use the shelf to maximize storage. The installation went smoothly. Warren moved all the items to the basement and worked diligently to complete it in one day. He cleaned up after he was done and wiped everything down. They put all the molding around it to finish it off. I am really impressed by the entire process and will definitely use them again. Their customer service is amazing and it is nice to know we have lifetime warranty on our shelf.
The entire process was flawless. If I need more work done I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. Great company, great work! They came back and as before everything is definitely five stars!
Working with California Closets was the biggest mistake I've made. They are expensive, which you might think means high quality. Unfortunately we've had to have them back a number of times to fix damaged panels from the factory, installation quality issues, and address problems caused by no one there seeming to care. The final straw was an insulting invoice that stated they would not work with us again because they apparently did not like us holding the final payment until they resolved the issues; a common practice in construction-based industries. Once we paid, suddenly it became months to get a service call booked to fix additional problems that came up from their exceptionally low quality products. If you want cookie cutter, pre-cut solutions, you'd be far better off going to IKEA and hiring someone handy to assemble or modify them to your needs. UPDATE: The manager showed up. She was dismissive of our concerns and even stated "well, it's just a closet". She did finally agree to send a painter, but we have no confidence it'll be done properly.Services: Closet design
