Knowledgeable, friendly, inviting staff. Well maintained and clean facility. Great place to spend the afternoon and decent price! Our group ranged from 9 years old to 49 and we all had a blast! Loved the auto belays so you can climb on your own.
Tried this spot while in town for a week, the staff and climbers were very friendly. Even made a climbing friend. The actual bouldering area is a little small, but they seem to make do with a smallish space. The floating boulders were so unique and the routes were definitely fun!
Rocked up to the Stronghold Climbing Centre today with my eight year old daughter. We usually frequent the Rocky Mountain Climbing Centre, so this was a nice alternative. Lots of beginner routes and a few auto belay routes for the individual climbers or anyone looking for a different experience. The boulder area was great and being mid week, if felt like we had the place to ourselves. The slower pace at the gym today gave my daughter some confidence to explore some harder routes and try some new features she normally doesn’t get a chance to do at the other facility. We had a great time! We’ll be back again.
Great staff, fun routes - good use of volumes and blocker holds. Big multi-use facility w ropes, bouldering, gym & training equipment & moonboard!! in the basement. Great use of space! Will climb here again :

Great, friendly staff. Challenging climbs. Good vibes, very chill. My daughter started doing the Nanos class on the weekends and LOVES it.
Convenient climbing Gym, with some well positioned auto-belays and a great upstarirs bouldering area. Parking can often be an issue on busy days
A friend and I took the beginners course earlier this week, the instructor was great! He did really well with explaining and demonstrating the material and within the two hour lesson the whole group was confident in using the belaying equipment without supervision. We returned a couple of days later and completed our competancy check, and we were climbing in no time! Great facility, awesome staff and it's a ton of fun! I'd highly reccomend it to anyone who's even considered recreational climbing! 5 out of 5!
Great facility and staff are professional and easy going. However. Read The Waiver!! There is provision near the bottom of the waiver stating CCC can use images captured at their facilities of you or your children in any way they want to. I find this deeply disturbing and creepy. I will never set foot in any business that exhibits this kind of behavior.
Great climbing gym on the northside. Besides the bouldering and climbing I was surprised to see a volume wall / training room in the basement with a wide array of equipment. Due to the size it will be a little busy. Will be going again, highly recommended.
