Went to try out the simulator. First time doing one It was a bit of a learning curve but definitely fun.. The best part of the experience was the onion rings... honestly the best I have ever had, apparently made in house Looking forward to golf season and going back for more!
I finally had the opportunity to golf at Caledon Country Club after driving by it for many years. The tee blocks, fairways and greens were in impeccable condition and the course was hilly and somewhat challenging. The staff were friendly and there was ample parking. The best part of the experience was being able to golf with my 13 year-old son! Finally, the scenery around the course and Niagara Escarpment is like no other - truly incredible! Looking forward to returning to Caledon Country Club in the near future.
Love this course, a hidden GEM in Southern Ontario. Greens keeping staff always keep this track in terrific shape and the proshop staff are very a polite group of young golf professionals. Highly recommend this challenging golf course for golf enthusiasts of all levels. Recent installations of HD GOLF simulators have helped me tune in my game in the off season too!
Nice looking track, has some challenges but also presents you with some short par 4’s giving you an opportunity to get a good score on those holes. The only reason for four stars was pace of play. The group in front of us was still teeing off on the first hole when our tee time came up, it was better on the front nine but really slowed down on the back and ended up taking almost 5 hrs to play the round which seems like a 4hr course. Having two more min between tee times would make the pace better or maybe we just had that day. Some of the layouts have tee boxes just passed other greens which leaves you open to errant balls so pay attention, had a couple roll up on us. The one 14th signature hole is pictured below, long par 5 that dog leg left, watch the cars if you slice!
We ordered French fries and Onion Rings, they are very tasty. I’d love to visit again. I’d recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family or a partner to play golf too. Do try their famous buffalo wrap, and look for Louis she is so friendly and will recommend you to try those foods.
I like to thank the owner Lucky for his hospitality towards us! I would highly recommend Caledon country club for your events and of course golfing! The place is stunning and it’s management is extremely kind and humble towards their clients!
Nice course, open, fairways and first cut in decent shape. Greens could use a bit of work however. Bare patches on several greens make putting even more challenging for a hack golfer as myself.
Played there a few times last summer. The condition of the course was good, it is reasonably priced and it wasn't over crowded. Will definitely go again next summer. Good little gem of a course.
I would give this course 4.5 stars if google would allow half points. I played on a Tuesday in October. I finished my round in 3.5 hours with a cart, which was pretty good. The best feature of this course is the uneven terrain. Holes 1 and 9 the fairways dip into a valley and then back up to the green. They are beautiful. The 14th hole is the signature hole, a 619 yards par 5 dogleg left. You drive the ball down a significant elevation drop. It was a gorgeous but tough hole to play. Then there was the 12th and 16th holes. They are both par 3's and the greens are both below the tee blocks. It's just hard to see the greens from the blue tee decks. Bunkers were well maintained. Clubhouse is dated as you'll see from my pictures. I will definitely be back to play this course again!!
Hands down one of the best golf course in Ontario with great indoor golf simulators too. Also happened to attend a wedding event there and the service was outstanding. Would definitely promote!
