It was an amazing experience & so much fun. Saif was incredibly helpful & we had a great time thx to him. Even when my wife felt a little sick “motion sickness” he knew exactly what to do & how to help her feel better within a few minutes. Can’t wait to go back & do it again soon. A++
It is an amazing site, with a blend of nature meeting machinery. The setting starts to change as you drive up from the city to the flight centre...it's soothing and calming. You'll see a lot of small planes on the outdoor paved tarmac. What a great place to take a tour and see smaller planes take off and land. I didn't know it but the Brampton Flight Centre is actually an airport. There's a coffee shop, a gift shop to buy t-shirts and toys etc., and a museum of old war planes. Best of all, everyone is very friendly and warm. You can immediately sense that there is a unique sub culture of aviators here, where some are instructors, some students, others pilots flying and earning their hours to keep current and yet others just enjoying the scene. The common theme here that everyone is welcoming and inviting. Oh, did I tell you that this is where you come to learn to become a licensed pilot. That's right, it's a college that offers on the ground training and in-air flight lessons as well as fun-filled sightseeing flights. So don't wait, come on down to spread your wings and learn to fly.
First time I booked the mini sight seeing they canceled it regarding weather issues I then had to wait over a month to finally get a new date. I had to take a day off work and as we do not live close we were already on the way to make sure we were early as part of their own rules. If they are going to cancel it they should firstly give a lot more notice as I would not of had to take a day off work and could have determined the weather from yesterday. Secondly if they are going to cancel they could at least accommodate us sooner so I don’t have to wait over a month again for a new date or at least allow us to get a refund as this is now the second time they canceled on us.
I called the dispatch to cancelled a booking because I was able to do my flight test earlier with a better weather. I got the confirmation email for the cancellation, and for whatever reason the system still had my booking in it. The examiner who did my flight test still showed up on our old appointment date and I had to pay 237.30 for the no show fee.
This place is very close to Brampton Downtown. Probably a 20 min drive or so! It was a great experience to come and view those smaller planes taking off and landing! Children had an absolute blast. There are benches by the fence very close to the runway for close up viewing. Recommend visiting the museum too which right adjacent to the BFC. Didn’t go there as it was closed but should be worth the visit with lots of planes standing there.
We visited BFC on airport day where they display old aircrafts along with some fun activities for the kids.We took a quick 15 min ride which costed us about 50$ per person, the service was Very professional service and ride was worth every penny.I must say it was mesmerizing experience. Would definitely visit again and often
So much fun to watch the planes land and take off. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful and it is free. Heard the restaurant is good to. Nice place and usually not busy. Can't believe so many small planes close to Brampton. Come fly away
I love coming here and watching GA planes. I suggest visiting on a day when the wind is aligned with runway 08-26 which is close to the parking, so you can have a better look at take offs or landings.
Hi, I want to join brampton flight centre to start my journey in aviation to obtain a ATPL. I want to know what would be fees from introductory flight until the multi engine rating step. Thanks
Amazing experience. Chris was so kind .
