Calabogie Lodge Resort

Lovely large chalet style suite, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Great quality sheets and kitchen ware. Cozy fireplace. Comfortable. Nice indoor heated pool. We were there in off season so dining room was not open unfortunately but another nearby resort had a lovely restaurant. A good bar/restaurant and a pizzeria only 5 minutes away.Rooms: 5/5

We’ve never stayed at the lodge so this is a review for their Elite membership that allows us to use the amenities. We absolutely love having this option as we live in the area and want to swim throughout the year. The pool is beautiful and almost always warm. The gym is small but has everything we need for a work out and rarely has anyone in it. The location of the lodge is perfect and the addition of on the rocks as the restaurant there is incredible. We’re regulars at the lodge and the restaurant. Highly recommend a vacation here.

A comfortable, pleasant getaway in a beautiful setting. Not the fanciest or most up to date, but quite pleasant and with all the amenities we need. We come here at least once a year to relax and enjoy the unpretentious but lovely locale. Hiking, the ski hill, snowshoeing, skating on the bay, an evening campfire by the lake and an outing to the in-house restaurant are our favourite activities.

Great staff, pool, games room and lodging. I am upset that they have carried over the pandemic policies. Guests still have to strip the bed sheets and bag it up, fill the dishwasher and run it, as well as empty and dispose of the garbage and recycling in the exterior dumpsters. This is not a guest experience that reflects the prices paid for the room. General cleanliness and respecting the lodges rooms is the guests job not disposing of garbage and removing bedsheets. Please remove these client policies. Update: Great job by the lodge for getting back to me and reassessing their policies. We will probably be seeing you in the future. Thanks!

I booked here based on other reviews and I can absolutely recommend others stay here. Rooms are very large with amazing views of the lake and mountain. Has good full size kitchen with ensuite washer/dryer. They even provide laundry detergent! The on-site pool and hot tub was fantastic and kept at a comfortable warm temperature in Feb unlike most other hotels. Didn’t get a chance to use the games room since it was busy but they had ping pong table, 2 pool tables, air hockey table, chess boards and books. Bring loonies for the games. Didn’t get a chance to try the on-site restaurant but the menu looked really good. Staff was also really friendly and accommodating. Just wished they served breakfast on site which they do not. There’s a grocery store 2min walk up the street or a breakfast cafe 4min away but they are closed Mon and Tues.

The person on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and met expectations. The view of the frozen lake from the room was beautiful. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, explore nature, and do some snow recreation, it's near a snow skiing resort, this is a very good place to go.Rooms: 3/5

Absolutely loved our visit and how awesome Carrie was helping me set up our last minute trip! I called in a panic because our Airbnb cancelled our reservation with a weeks notice. Carrie was so helpful and was able to get us a two night stay with minimal stress. We will definitely be coming back Rooms: 5/5

We had an amazing stay here a calabogie lodge, we loved the view of the lake from our room. The room had everything we needed to make ourself comfortable, full kitchen, electric fireplace and washer/dryer. The main building had a salt water pool and hot tub, I would totally stay here again.

This lodge resort is right by the lake. The view is beautiful. Has a beach with sand. Lcbo and grocery store in walking distance. Indoor pool, gym, games room, art gallery, plus a restaurant. You get a full kitchen in your unit with dishwasher, stove, fridge. Laundry/washer and dryer. Hiking close by. Very awesome cave you can check out. Docks on the resort for your boat. They offer canoes and paddle boats. Hunting and secluded areas for target practicing close by if thats your thing- we got a lot of ducks in October. We caught tons of fish. Atv/utv trails. Its a fun location, has a bit of everything for everyone. Staff is always pleasant.

Went there to check it out. Talked to the front desk worker liv, who was respectful, nice and warming. Great place to be! 5 stars all around
