Cal's Bakery & Cafe

We stopped in to try the Shock coffee, we were welcomed by the owner who was very friendly. The bakery smelt amazing and had a cozy feel. The owner was very knowledgable about the coffee and shared all the information about this drink. The Shock coffee was delicious and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this place to everyone ! :) Excellent service!

This place is new to the neighbourhood and we were eager to give it a try. I have a son that has a severe peanut allergy so bakeries aren’t typically an option for us. The staff at Cal’s are so extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their products. We felt safe and secure ordering some treats for our son for the first time in a long time. The goodies we tried were a berry square, mint truffle, banana muffin and cookie square. Everything was exceptional. Very delicious flavours, moist and not chalky like some gf options. They have a variety of frozen foods to choose from as well that we will be testing with some of our relatives that have food allergies. Last but not least, they make a great cup of coffee which this area desperately needed! We are so happy with Cal’s and will definitely be returning frequently.

Great place, great food, great folks. I have no sensitivity to gluten...but I still come here because their goods are delicious.... There's no powdery hardness like you'd find in many GF locales, no. Instead your tastebuds are treated to a wonderful experience of delicious moistness (where appropriate). They also stock other things like GF pizza, bread or sausages...and they care about the stuff they sell so they make sure its good.... I thoroughly recommend this place to one and all...gluten impaired or otherwise...

Have tried and absolutely loved the following! - Roasted red pepper and ricotta ravioli (Cal even gave me recommendations for making my own DIY beurre blanc) - Perogies - Wraps - Flatbread - Muffins - Strawberry Champagne cheesecake - Strawberry, fruit and blueberry muffins - Carrot cake Never have I been disappointed! I always look forward to seeing what their latest creating is, as featured on their Facebook or Instagram! Check it out! It's delicious!

First vist there, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products that they are selling. The food we tryed was delicious and we will be back forsure to try more of their options and definitely happy to hear they are expanding!
