Cajun Cafe

I've actually been eating at the Cajun Cafe since they opened! I know, I am aging myself but honestly this has always been my favorite food at the mall. Their bourbon chicken is the best. Hands down. My Mother always grabbed a little for me at the end of every Mall trip as a kid or teen and my daughter is sitting down to enjoy some of her own right now! Her smile when we rounded the corner to see they were still open just made my day. The little things I told the ladies behind the counter and they were so happy always friendly fast and delicious food!

This place has been around for at least 22 years the food is still tasty and affordable. My guy and I had a lil trip to the mall and decided to grab a bite. We handnt been to the mall in years. We were reminiscing and just eating the food brought back memories. This is a great place to grab a healthy mean I love their veggies and the burbon chicken. I give this a definite thumbs up

Rude, rice was bland/dry, and made up rules on charging for drink refills. Highly encourage people to try one of the vendors in the food court.

Delicious . Everytime. I had the noodles, green beans and classic Burbon chicken. So good. Thomas is the owner, super friendly man. Keep up the good work

Sorry guys your missing the mark, paid 12 bucks for some bland noodles and average chicken, not for me.

Wow. How has Better Business Bureau not deal with the worst business I've been to? Ridiculous. Don't go here they'll charge you for something you didn't order. I had to go back there to ask for something ridiculous where I didn't have to and I persisted to ask for it in her language and she did it so I would go away. How do I give negative stars? I ask just for a side of Jambalaya and the lady pretended to not know I said Jambalya. She then proceeded to put fried rice on a plate and just kept asking what other sides and meats. She pretended to not know English. Also, who I assume is the manager at the register just went ahead and charged for a whole meal. She didn't attempt to ask if I speak her language. Dude the food was so low quality it was almost if they got leftovers from a soup kitchen.

Read the health inspectors reports like the other reviewer said! Report one year ago says they're storing food at room temperatures and multiple dead and live cockroaches found. I got food poisoning 6 hours after eating here earlier today. The bourbon chicken didn't taste good as it had no bourbon sauce but I still ate it thinking it was safe. Well apparently not! Filing a complaint with the health department.

Went to upstate New York for an appointment with my friend and was starving. We found a food court close by, so we gave it a shot. We tried thier sample and tasted pretty good. Their steam table and food looked fresh and clean. They also served noodles and string beans. Finally we brought the combo order. The chicken was grilled perfectly and string beans were very crunchy. Surprisingly, pretty good food from a food court. Definitely, I would come back to try again!

I've been eating here off and on for years when ever I am at mall. The food is good for what it is but the service has always been bad. Lately ,frankly, I'm tired of it. The staff and management are always rude and no it is not the language barrier. I speak three languages. I am around strangers, friends and family who are multi lingual, from a different country, different ethnic background etc. I am not just an English speaker from an homogenous community. But I do have darker skin. There is a general unprofessionalism with all customers but it increases the darker your skin is. It doesn't matter who you, where you are from, language, or what you think of others ethnic backgrounds; when you work in hospitality be hospitable and professional. I've never argued w them or raised my voice but I am leaving this review I wish I did not have to give them even one star and I will not eat there anymore. It also doesn't help w the comments on them failing health inspections continually etc I will be looking in to. This is my first online review
