I have been going to Cafe Zog for 20+ years. This is a small and quaint place. It is one of the few places in the state that has vanilla chai that is not simply spiced chai with a shot of vanilla. The food is very good. Most is prepared to order. Sometimes, there is live music in the patio or inside. Early mornings are terrific here. Daily and other newspapers, magazines, and other print publications are available for perusal. I am not a coffee drinker, but I note that there is a good selection of coffees.

Came here for the first time ordered a egg susage sandwich it wasn’t busy at all and it took about 15 mins to come out and as I was eating it I noticed the sausage was uncooked in some parts it was really hard I don’t think that’s safe to eat I would say Dunkin dounuts is a lot better...... would not recommend to anyone

Avoid this place at all cost, I over heard one of the staff members talking about how there was MOLD in a smoothie mixer she was trying to clean and the guy she was talking too says "yeah we can't get it out, just use it anyway". He then grabs said mixer makes a drink and sells it to girl who had order one. 🤢😱 Before that I witnessed the Bakery items being pulled out of a BJs bag like that's ok to sell off as your own. This place is dirty and shady do yourself a favor walk a little ways down the street to coffee exchange they know there stuff and actually care about what they put out.

1. The young man behind the counter was very courteous. 2. The atmosphere was nice and there was wifi. 3. The price of what I ordered was reasonable. 4. The hot chocolate was not good at all. No flavor what so ever and it was almost cold when i got it. 5. I ordered the blueberry pancake combo which comes with 2 very thin pancakes, eggs, potatoes, and fruit. The most appetizing thing on the plate were the sliced fruit that came on the side. Seriously the fruit was the best thing on the plate. 6. I only give it 2 stars because the owner left 2 young girls in charge of the cafe after he left and they were not very welcoming to guest after he left. Also 2 stars because the food and hot chocolate were not good. 7. My advice would be to hire an experienced cook and have actual cooking equipment.

Great cozy place for a nice chai and a bite to eat. Been visiting Zog for 22 years!
