The Agora Lounge holds up to 50-75 people and is located in the back of Cafe Rhema, Downtown Flint, MI.
Cafe Rhema is a 1920'S themed shop that offers a variety of coffee drinks, Bubble tea, freshly baked goods, smoothies, and sandwiches. Decorated in a roaring 20's Great Gatsby theme, it's the perfect space for studying, relaxing, or even a small business meeting.

What do our names mean?

The Agora (/ˈæɡərə/; Ancient Greek: Ἀγορά Agorá) was a central spot in ancient Greek city-states. The literal meaning of the word is "gathering place" or "assembly". The agora was the center of athletic, artistic, spiritual and political life of the city. The Ancient Agora of Athens was the best-known example.

Rhema (ῥῆμα in Greek) literally means an “utterance” or “thing said” in Greek.[1] It is a word that signifies the action of conversation. In philosophy it was used by both Plato and Aristotle to refer to propositions or sentences.
