It was my first time trying Cafe Landwer and overall it was a positive experience. Ordered the Sinia beef kebab entree and it was delicious. The presentation of the food was great but execution can be improved. The bread bowl made it difficult to eat with the beef and eggplant. More hummus would definitely make it more enjoyable. Also ordered the shawarma plate but the hummus went through the wax paper making it hard to eat. Friendly service and the restaurant was clean. I would go again to try other dishes next time.
Come early for the opening time and there will be no line up. Staff were very nice and food was delicious. Highly recommend. Amazing Israeli breakfast and lunch spot. Never tried the dinner but they do have dinner options as well. Will be coming back for sure!

A good restaurant at Yorkdale Shopping Center. We came here for a rest and some drink and snacks after shopping. The ice cream is tasty and not so sweet. Latte and apple-cider are to the standard. By the way, the service is also very good!
Delicious and unique food, and the service was amazing. Every server and hostess was so attentive and sweet. They checked up on us multiple times and always made sure we were looked after. Will definitely be coming back!
Went here during weekend lunch time. Super busy and didn't get a table immediately. After putting our name down, an hour later we were allotted a table. Big fan of the food so it was worth the wait for us but highly recommend making reservations whenever possible. Ordered the vegetarian and I didn't realize it came with egg. When the meal came my server was understanding and took it back to bring one without an egg for some places vegetarian means no egg, for some it means with egg, so a bit of confusion. So for future reference, either order a vegan or specifically mention "no eggs". Vegetarian options: Vegetarian comes with egg. So be aware.
We had dinner here. The butternut squash ravioli was the best dish that we had. The chocolate croissant was extremely good as well. We might come back next time!
I’ve been here a couple of times with my partner because the food is phenomenal and the staff is just the nicest. I gotta say, Kaythleen always makes our visit so much better. By our second visit she had already recognized us and came by to say hi even though she wasn’t our server that time. The manager was also very nice to us and she had a genuine smile, something you don’t necessarily get from many managers. I don’t have any food pictures but all I can say is that it is worth the price you pay. We can’t wait to go back. Parking: Parking next to both restaurant entrances.
I tried Shakshuka for the first time and it tasted so good! I’m fond of Mediterranean cuisine which is the prime reason I preferred going to Landwer. However, they do have sandwiches, burgers and pizzas as well in their brunch menu.. If you’re a coffee person then do try their True mocha - Dark/white chocolate or granitas if you’re fond of less sugar in your coffee!!
Super cute decor. It’s like diner meet cafe vibes. We didn’t have a reservation but we came during the weekday around 5, and it was about half full but I can see this place get busy on weeknights and weekends. The food came out pretty quickly and tasted fresh. I was disappointed to know they didn’t have any croissants and it was only 6pm. I would come back to try some of the other options.
