The ambience of this place gives big-city vibes! The staff is kind, the food is really good and the prices are reasonable. The decor and music in this Cafe are great! They have a variety of drinks. Highly recommend coming here.
Went with a friend on her birthday, asked for the birthday treat and the staff said it’s only after 5 or 6 pm ? My friend was so disappointed. The food tasted good but a bit pricey.Food: 4/5
Hidden gem in Chinatown. Yummy food and good varieties of drinks available. Nice ambient, great atmosphere soothing blue lighting. Recommended for gathering and food with friends, family and colleagues.
I come here pretty often with my friends, and even stopped by on my birthday. We usually get some cocktails, sandwiches and rice bowls. Their sodukk and deserts are also super good. I love this place and the staff are really nice. 10/10 :Food: 5/5
Honestly this is THE place to go with friends. The vibes are immaculate and the drinks are straight up heavenly. Service is super good as well, they're willing to call you once a table is open for your party when it's busy which makes you feel super welcome. Overall it's a gorgeous experience worth doing!!Food: 5/5
Went on a weekday afternoon right as the cafe opened. Ordered an injeolmi latte and a b&c sandwich with sweet chili sauce. The drinks were served to our table first and then the sandwiches followed shortly after. Both arrived with excellent presentation. The injeolmi latte was flavourful and comes with the option of with or without coffee. It was not grainy at all and was a fair size for the price. The sandwich was also a fair price and having the option of different sauces is a nice touch. The sandwiches are a little messy to eat, but the paper casing it comes in is helpful in reducing the mess. Staff did not rush us out and we were free to stay for multiple hours. The space did not get crowded during our stay and even as more people arrived it did not get too noisy. The music was a little loud for a comfortable level of conversation, but it was not overly distracting. The photo booth inside is a fun touch. The cost is $10 for two copies of a four-frame photo strip and is a great way to commemorate your visit. Parking: Paid street parking available in the area or along the river. Wheelchair accessibility: On the second floor. Stair access only.
Ambient is a unique spot that has elements of a cafe, restaurant, and cocktail bar all in one. This little gem is hidden right in Chinatown and offers a variety of cafe drinks, cocktails, and mocktails. I love how it is open until very late hours; the vibe of the restaurant transitions from cafe during the day to cocktail bar at night. I went here to celebrate a close friend’s birthday and the staff was very welcoming and even gave us a birthday dessert on the house! The food does take a while to come especially in busy hours. My highlight of that night was the chicken platter, absolutely delicious and now one of my favourite Korean fried chickens that I’ve tried. Was not a huge fan of the K-street fries perhaps texture of the mayo, lettuce, and fries together but I loved the Okonomi fries. They are pretty known for their “standing egg sandwiches” so I’ll try that myself next time.
Amazing. The menu has a lot to offer. Great variety of food and drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic options. I tried the Earl grey honey bread, and it was delicious. The mango melona soju cocktail was also very tasty. The location is great, and overall it’s a great vibe.Food: 5/5
I came here with a couple of girlfriends and we ordered some wings, spicy chicken tacos, okonomi fries, and spicy chicken lettuce wraps. We ordered some soju cocktails as well and they were light and tasty. The wings were small and slightly dry with little meat on them but the flavour was good! I didn’t try the tacos but my friends said they were amazing. The fries I also didn’t try but my friends said they didn’t like the fishiness but I think that’s a matter of preference. The lettuce wraps were basically the same as the tacos just with lettuce instead of the tortilla. I really enjoyed the lettuce wraps the flavour was unreal, so flavourful and tasty. Our server took quite some time to take our order and then everything took a long time to come out as well. We felt bad as there was only one person working and it was quite busy. I honestly would’ve given it 4 stars but the server acknowledged that the service was very slow and apologised and said they were understaffed that day and then he paid for our Photo Booth experience to make up for it which we were very happy about. This place opened not too long ago so I do recommend checking it out as I’m sure the service and food will surely get better from here. Definitely don’t skip out on the lettuce wraps they’re the best I’ve ever had!
Oh my god it was so good. I wasn't expecting it to be this tasty, so that's a bummer because I'll have to find downtown parking to get my fix. I don't know why or how the flavour seemed so nostalgic despite never having it before, but it was the perfect blend of savoury and sweet. The power went out while my friend and I were there and it actually made it nice because it wasn't too bright or too loud. When we first got there the music was a bit overwhelming, but then it all stopped and made it kinda fun. Absolutely would recommend it here!
