I drove past Cafe Zupas fairly often on my daily commutes, but one night, I stopped in with my wife and dined in. I got the Lobster Bisque, and my wife got a sandwich. The bisque was absolutely fantastic and so was the sandwich. We didn't get any desert, but the staff had put some small treats on our tray, and it really sealed the deal. Cafe Zupas has great customer service and good food. Be sure to stop by for a chill dining session.
I enjoyed my salad, but thier version of the "Chicken" sandwich was not great. More breading than chicken. The fasp paced order line was a bit overwhelming for a first time visit.. but the are freaking fast..Food: 4/5
It was my first time here and I’m really disappointed that I paid 1.99 for literally 4 bite sized pieces of canned chicken at least it looks like canned chicken. Also the presentation was horrendous. After working at chick-fil-a this was really cringe to see. Managers here don’t seem to care about that.
Great experience!!! This location does an awesome job!. I always order Wisconsin cauliflower soup and nuts about berries salad. Yummy as always. Cord the manager is great to watch with his staff and customers. He asked how we were doing. It was so clean. I read reviews and I’m not sure why there were negative ones. I’m super picky and our experience was the best!
Very informative staff with plenty of options. I was able to try soups before selecting one. The Lobster and red pepper was delicious. Ended up choosing the southwest tortilla soup which was decent. Unfortunately the bbq pork sandwich was like warm. Portion size of the sandwich may be on the small size for a larger person. The combo was nice to be able to try a sandwich and a soup.
Don't order the clam chowder. Very runny, not a chowder. Worst soup I've had in quite while. Very disappointing with how cold it is. Also, the upcharge on the steak protein bowl is the same $2 whether you get a half or whole salad. That does not compute. Plus you get charged another dollar if you get it in a combo. Not well laid out on their boards until you just paid $15 for a combo. Zupas used to be good deal for the money. The combo meal has gone up $4 in the past 2.5 years. Up $7 for scoop of steak. About done with this place.
We got the pesto chicken sandwich, a couple of custom salads, and chicken noodle soup. The soup was barely above room temp but that’s not normal for this location. Might have just been a slow day. The sandwich and salads were excellent as always. The crew on shift were working hard to be fast so the visible effort meant a lot. They’re a good team and we’ll be back to hopefully get a hot soup this next time.
Bring the strawberries back! It was a beautiful blessed day I would wake up on my uncles strawberry tree ranch at 3am, and run straight out into the fields, climb the tree that sprouted the holy fruit of life.. Strawberries.. You know the old nursery ryhme about the big red strawberry? Well I do, and its near and dear to my heart.. I used to come into Zupas with a huge smile on face knowing this is the only, ONLY restaurant that knows how to treat a chocolate dipped strawberry loving person such as myself. Zupas chocolate dipped strawberries used to bring so much joy and love into my life.. but now.. now we are brought to destruction, terror, and horror of being faced with a chocolate dipped Oreo… Oreo?!? What happened Zupas? Is Oreo blackmailing you into their campaign of removing chocolate dipped strawberries from our beautiful world? Is this what we have to envision moving forward?? Chocolate dipped strawberries will now only be a thing of the past?… It pains me, hurrs my feel goods.. First the nursery ryhma died out.. Then my uncles farm of strawberry blossoming trees.. Then the chocolate dipped strawberries at Zupas.. And now.. My chocolate dipped strawberry lovin soul is dying..
Stopped in for some Wisconsin Cauliflower soup with my husband and it always hits the spot. I've been helped by Cordon a couple of times and am always super impressed by him. He engages well with his staff and customers and treats everyone professionally.
For the past three visits to this location they have got our order wrong and the reason I am writing a review today is because my wife's salad was rancid and tasted sour. The staff is nice enough but this location has no quality control and never actually checks that sandwiches are made correctly. I will not be going to this location anymore, Management standards are obviously slipping.
