Café Grinderz

Maybe they have good coffee, but I don't drink coffee. I had hot chocolate. I'm so disappointed. Call it hot milk with cocoa sprinkle. It sure didn't taste like chocolate. Pastries didn't appear appetizing. I wish I had a better review to write.

UPDATE: I found out their giant cookies aren’t gluten free. I contacted the baker to order some and she let me know that none of those cookies are gluten free... Ferrero rocher, toblerone, etc. Walked in with a friend two days ago, and the guys working there are really friendly and welcoming. Their gluten free ferrero rocher cookie is SOOOO GOOD they’re made by someone in Laval, and my cappuccino with oat milk was excellent. Frankly I’m even surprised they had oat milk. I didn’t bother asking for it because they seemed like an old school coffee bar, but the guy making my cappuccino actually offered a bunch of options which was nice. My friend loved her espresso, and she wants to go back every Saturday now.

Great little café in Mile-End.

The little café is really nice and cozy but really overpriced for the regular sandwiches, for which there was not even a great selection.

Lovely little cafe, nice addition to the neighborhood with friendly staff and great coffee. Much, much better than anything that's been in that spot before.
