Café Frida

We stopped by Frida cafe after our camping trip and I'm very glad to have discovered such a wonderful gem. As soon as you come in the premises, it's warm and welcoming with a lot of greens. Beautiful signs and wonderful decor. It feels like a place you can lose hours in and not really mind... The staff was friendly, attentive and impeccable in their service. They also had a wide variety of selections for drinks and food that were to die for. I got the chance to drink their turmeric latte and I keep itching to drink some more. We also tried a wide variety of their plates, everything better than the other. I really enjoyed their food, the company and the atmosphere of Frida cafe. If you are in the neighborhood, this is where you should stop. PS: this is a vegetarian/vegan place

For great vegan food and friendly people Cafe Frida is fantastic. I have eater here about 15 times in the last 3 weeks. Partly because there is no other vegan options in the area and partly because I have enjoyed every visit. I have tried nearly everything on the menu.

Stopped here for some hot tea and a toast on the way from Montréal to Quebec City. It was a rainy afternoon with a tinch of fall chill and Frida's view of the misty Trois Riviers port. I tried the Labrador Tea which was delicious for the weather and we're recommend the avocado and lentil toasts by the server. The food stop was well worth the time spent given we didn't see much else in the city due to the rains.

Amazing vegan food. The wife and I had a great meal there and the coffee was very tasty.

We arrived at a time when they were "in between meals" and they we're only serving soup. The veggie toast was good but the cold soup (I think it was cucumber and peas??) was very tangy and sour. Not gross but very interesting and maybe one could even say an acquired taste. Would I go again? Maybe if I happened to be in Trois Rivières again but not a place I would drive to just to go eat there.
