The Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre opened in 2012. It is a state of the art recreation facility that includes a fitness centre, gymnasium, two NHL sized rinks and an aquatic centre with a lap pool, leisure pool and relaxation pool. The Leisure Centre offers a wide variety of programs, memberships and drop-in opportunities.

I bring my kids here for skating and swimming. I like the people and the facility. But coming here kinda grosses me out due to the lack of cleaning. Every surface looks like it hasn’t been wiped down in months. Every window is filthy. The floors in the rink don’t get swept or mopped. The same spilled gatorade stain has been there for an entire 8 week skating session. The same greasy double handprint stain had been on the window leading to the swimming upper viewing area for a 9 week swimming session.nnJust take a second and look for yourself. Look at the surfaces, the floors and the overall cleanliness of the place.nnAll im asking is to just clean the place up. Make it shine.
As everything has been deteriorating in past few years, thus BWG Leisure center is not an exception. Bradford is the fastest growing in region and the Community and Leisure centers, library, schools can't keep up with it. Population migrating from GTA brings new behaviors, manners or better said lack of it. Hygiene is poor, people do not shower prior to entering the pool, school kids are vaping in the bathrooms, the gym is crowded so you have to wait forever for your turn. I mean, I truly can not comprehend the amount of selfishness and egoism some people bring to the gym. I have been witnessing that every day and I am done with this place. It used to be very nice sport center when opened years ago but now this place would benefit from having a police station inside the building. This is just my honest opinion and I am positive that a lot of people would agree and support my words.
Very nice facility, but not being cared for. Hockey dressing rooms were very dirty, the floors were covered in garbage and tape. The showers had wet towels and dirty underwear, there was blood in the bathroom and sink.nnThe main bathrooms were also very dirty.nnLots of parking, great stands on both ice surfaces.
Visited as part of a hockey tournament.nGreat facility with many amenities for the local community. Rinks and available seating were great.
My experience at this rec center was amazing! I wish I lived closer to go more often.nIts so clean, and the employees are super friendly and helpful. They have accommodation for all sport.
