Oh my....oh my...oh my....what a lovely find! We saw this bakery in Little Britain and we turned around to check it out and I'm so happy we did! There is so much to choose from. There is so many butter tart flavors, its hard to choose just one. The butter tart crust is really good/thick and the fillings were nice and gooey and full to the top! The Chelsea bun is finger licking good. Even the Ham & Cheese croissants were very tasty. Colleen was so friendly and helpful and made our visit truly wonderful. When we are back in the area...we are definitely stopping again. Totally recommend anyone who is in the area to stop in...you won't be disappointed.
This place has a pulse! Right when you enter you'll see all the great knick knacks on shelves around the rooms. What will catch your eyes, and your nose, is all the great baked goods - pastries, buns, bread, butter tarts and more! You won't know where to begin! It will be difficult to choose what to eat now and to take home! Go ahead - indulge!!
The minute you get inside, you know it is impossible to buy only one butter tart or donut. It is delicious.
We bought a variety of savory and sweet goodies and it was all so tasty. My favorite were the lemon and apple danishes, and the apple fritter. I also loved the savory spinach croissant, which I got heated up! Delicious pastries, kind people and good prices!
Good variety of butter tarts. Tried plain, raisin, apple. Tarts have a decent taste to them. Medium butter taste. Not worth the price. Disappointing based on the reviews. Not sure what reviewers were comparing to. Sweet Oven has by far the best butter tarts. These are just ok. Better than supermarket butter tarts. Crust was a little thick. Wouldn't buy again.
Lovely little bakery with fantastic butter tarts! Everything there looks delicious.....worth the drive if you're in the general area.
I put these in the fridge current heatwave to get the center a bit more solid and my goodness... Thank you for what might be the best tart ever! Also, my kids and I are fighting over this last cheese loaf now too.
Thank you for taking care of the Corvette group today. I drove a little fast around the corners going home to Toronto. OMG, the Lemon Tart was so good!!!
Awesome place! Stop by and treat yourself to some baked goods, especially the blueberry-raspberry scones and "calorie-free" buttertarts. The wonderful woman behind the counter assured me that ALL the treats are calorie-free! When you pay, you can drop a donation in to their collection for the local food bank, and come away feeling good!
