Great staff! Totally there to help you with a smile and a story to share if not busy. The store has various table top games and large long tables to host events on a regular basis. Check out their website for dates and times because there are many and they are frequent. For MTG players they sell some complete Uncommon/Common sets and usually have a stash of pre-release kits if interested in something different. They also stock lots of used bundle boxes for card storage. I've scored a bunch of shoe box 1600 dual slot card board storage boxes from them when nobody had them in stock. They also sell old school Nintendo games and it's fun to walk through the section like it was the games section of a video store from the 80s.
Ordered cards from Three Kings two months ago. Error on their website resulted in payment going through but no order number being given. I paid through PayPal so I was able to provide everything they would need to resolve the issue either through a refund or store credit or sending the cards I ordered. I’ve been trying to get help for two months and every time I message them they say they’ll get back to me and never do. Poor customer service, I strongly recommend finding an alternative store.
Can't even refund 6$. I ordered three times. Decided to go shipping - and for that one time, they gave me the wrong card. Was told to ship it back/go there to exchange nope not even in store credit refund... being local, I decided to visit them and get the correct card. They didn't have it... they said they will refund the 6$. It been almost two months and I still haven't received any refund. Was apparently already escalated to the manager when I chat with the employee on the site. I really want to like this store as they are the only TCG in downtown but unless this is fixed, they've lost a potential long time buyer. Time to shop at Walmart.
BIGGEST SCAM EVER! I preordered 12 boxes of One Piece Card Game in December 2022, and they said the products would be available on February 28th 2023. When the due date came, they canceled my order for ''lack of payment'' even though it went through. I called the store and they told me it was an error, that I had to buy another preorder they increased the price by $40 per box and they would refund the difference for the 2nd order right away. They also told me the refund of my 1st order, which I paid fully and they canceled, is on the way. After some back and forth, they never refunded anything. I decided to call my credit card company after weeks and they told me there is no pending refund from this store. In other words, this store canceled my fully paid order and refuse to refund me and constantly lied to me concerning the refunds. They also refuse to refund the difference on my 2nd order and said they would do it when they receive their products when they said they would refund the day I put my preorder in. I sent them emails and called them several times to refund everything, but they ignore me to this day. I will take them to court to resolve the matter.
This was my second time here. I came a year ago and i wrote down the address so i can come back again. A great collection of games, cards, and DnD stuff. If that kind of stuff is your jam then three kings is where you need to go.
A magical gaming place in the heart of downtown where not only can you find all kinds of popular and rare board and video games but it's also a mecca for Montreal gamers to congregate at, play games together and exchange ideas and paraphernalia. If you have even a passing interest in games, this here is a must-visit.
I do not believe in 5 stars because nothing is perfect in this world. So this is an honest review. Big thank you to Shawn for helping me today, he was honest on the cards selected for my Werewolf deck and even helped me with some cards i didnt have knowledge of. Everything was smooth for the trade and transaction. That being said....the only thing i would complain about and im nitpicking is the organization of the place...it looks a tiny bit chaotic with all the games and cards and items everywhere....my ocd was screaming at me in my head haha. But great experience...i dont live in mtl but if im ever in need and around the area ill make sure to drop by
Best store in town Drafting 3 days a week. A great selection of board games and card games. As well as Dungeon and Dragons. Groups are always welcome and a huge selection of consoles to test games before you buy. Also can reserve space for parties.
This is the first review I’ve ever left for a company. I ordered a specific Pokémon card for my son for Christmas. Website said it was the last one in stock. I was thrilled. I ordered it immediately and waited for my email about it being shipped. I didn’t receive said email so, about three days later, I called the company and they assured me it is s on its way and will be here before Christmas. A few days later I still have yet to receive any notification about the card so I called again today. They put me on hold and, when they came back, told me they never had the card, I won’t be getting the card and that a refund has been sent to my card! Now, as it’s so close to Christmas and I wasted DAYS waiting for something I’m never going to get, I won’t be able to have it in time from anyone else and this is something my child asked for from Santa. Needless to say, I wouldn’t ever do business with this company again and I explore no one else to, unless lies and disappointment are what you’re looking for. This is no way to do business. I’ll be sure to let anyone who wants to use this company that they’re best to get anywhere else.
Been waiting for over a month for my One Piece cards. They keep changing the dates for events and not posting that it's a "first come first serve" during events. When I ask for the packs that I have PAID FOR, they tell me to come on a different day or ask for a refund. They need to stop "hosting" events and screwing everyone over. They need to get their things together because this is getting ridiculous.
