Burrard Physio is one of the most professional physiotherapy clinics I have ever visited. The location is clean and well equipped with good equipment. The staff is attentive and caring, particularly Gemma, who has been great in helping me redress a long-standing shoulder injury. The exercises she recommended were very helpful, and she made sure to follow up on my progress throughout the past few months. Highly recommend.
Gemma was amazing and took the time to understand what my issues was! I fell of the electric scooter and had a really hard time repairing my legs strength. Thanks to her it’s been 5-6 months and I’m back doing my regular workout and being happy and healthy again 10/10! Would go recommend to everyone!
I sprained my foot badly and walking was quite painful. I started seeing Gemma at Burrard Physio just a few days after the injury and she was amazing. Within a week I could already see noticeable progress and at 4 weeks my foot is nearly back to normal! She’s professional, lovely to chat with, and focuses not only on immediate relief but also strengthening for long term improvement. I highly recommend her!
The reviews speak for themselves, Burrard PT is by far the best clinic I have been to. My PT, Matt, is a great listener, very passionate, knowledgeable, and most of all personable. From the first session, he knew exactly how to tackle my problem and fully broke down what was causing my pain and came up with a great plan to fix my back. Every once in a while, he likes to call back to check in and see how my overall health is and makes sure that I know he’s there to help if any issues arise. This has been my go-to PT last year and I will continue to go there as long as I’m in Vancouver. Cheers Matt!
I have been very pleased with my experience at Burrard Physiotherapy clinic with a physiotherapist Matt Godbeer. He is very knowledgeable, organized and compassionate. In a friendly manner and a professional attitude he helped me to eliminate pain and swelling as well as strengthen my foot and ancle muscles enabling them to reach a full range of mobility in just five sessions over four weeks. Now I’m able to wear all footwear I used to use before my injury and go back to my very active lifestyle considering my age of 71 years. Thank you Matt.
It was my first time seeing Gemma at this clinic. I found her very personable and easy to talk to. She listens carefully to concerns. Gemma is knowledgeable and once the problem is identified she explains what she she is doing and why. I would not hesitate to refer her to my friends and in fact I have already done so!
I had a lower back issue and saw Matt as a new patient. Matt was great. He listened attentively, gently located the troublesome area and worked on the muscle groups affected. I really felt the benefit of the session and followed his rehab plan. My back approves! Thanks Matt
I have been going to this clinic for 2 months. Despite family tragedies, and other circumstances I never missed a session , Today there was a significant storm outside, with lots of wind and rain. I called to ask to reschedule the appointment as I had to walk to the clinic and did not want to get sick. I explained that I had had pneumonia several times before and did not want to be exposed to the elements, especially with COVID around. I will also mention that I'm a senior and have previously been vulnerable and almost lost my life. I spoke to the office manager, who said no! If you miss this session, you will be charged $95.. I did mention that I could die if I got sick again. She would rather, I went into the clinic with the prospect of getting very sick, rather than changing the day of the appointment. I canceled all my future appointments and will never go to this clinic again. I will add that the clinic's response illustrates these people's deception and lack of integrity. The cancelations they mentioned are lies. As stated earlier, I have not missed a session in the last 2 months that I have been attending this clinic. I went to my sessions even when my mother was dying in hospital. It is unfortunate that they hired such an inappropriate administrative manager, as her attitude and unfriendly, and robotic manner diminishes the clinic. To say that I canceled 7 times is a farfetched lie. They also made a lot of mistakes in my scheduling and had to reschedule. I hope that these are not marked as cancelations. Unfortunately COVID really effected the ability to hire competent staff and businesses are forced to settle for less.. If it is the owner who left this response I would suggest that in the future, you would make certain that the facts are correct before posting a response to a Google review. This is very bad customer service. I have also contacted the supervisor of ICBC and told her the situation.. She was appalled! They need to hire a better clinic manager and this inadequate person who cannot think for herself must go, as this business will eventually lose many patients if this insensitivity continues.
I sought out a physio clinic because of the intense pain I was feeling in my thumb joint. We walked in to Burrard Physiotherapy on Nov. 12/22 and due to a cancellation was able to see Gemma Greig immediately. Gemma was amazing!!! She was gentle, explained things thoroughly and took the time to answer all my questions. I left with greatly reduced pain and a plan to continue my physio at home. I would highly recommend Gemma at Burrard Physio to anyone who wants great results. Thank you Gemma and the team at Burrard Physio!
Burrard Physiotherapy is a very impressive organization with an excellent facility and top notch physiotherapists. Matt did a great job analyzing my shoulder problem and giving me some exercises to help improve it.
