very spacey and open, i just think it’s a major safety problem that’s they’re giant metal poles around the park?? Has a small playground too but not assessable for all children.
If you're looking for a spacious, quiet park to walk the dog or practice your baseball techniques, this is a great park for just that! With a big baseball diamond and plenty of area to explore, it's no surprise many people come here to play ball or simply relax. There's also play equipment for the youngsters to enjoy! My son and I always had a really great time when we'd come play here.
Who knew the former city dump could make such a nice quiet park?
Its okay but no very friendly for younger kids the playground equipment has no stairs only climbing wall and bars so kinds under 4-5 will need a lot of assistance. Any child with disabilities would not be able to use the equipment either. When I was there someone threw their tim hortons coffee down the on slide so it was not usable in its current state thankfully i see it before my child went down the swirling slide.
Great open space park. Baseball diamond with benches. The play equipment and swings are a little dated. Lighting in park does not work at night. Bunches of old oak forest offer lots of shade.
Brantford, is a small town, city. We have all the things and businesses you have in big cities, and with qualities worth trying. But we do it along the Grand River, and we are close Six Nations. Our First Nations neighbours are great caretakers of their lands and set a great example on how cities and towns should take care of theirs. So we get a lot of beautiful trails all around brantford and Barley park is one of the many parks we walk around the corner to enjoy.
Ball parks, playground structure, great expanse of open space. Nice view of city. Greenspace with cool methane vents. Check it out!
Great place to do some minor tobogganing with my 8 year old. Brings back memories of my childhood.
Great place to take the kids tobogganing. There are a few small hills and a big one.
Great place for kids ! Play ground and a lovely baseball diamond!!
