This park has just been redone it is always packed with big kids. If you have little ones (5 and under) I'd suggest visiting this park when the big kids are in school as they take over the park and play rough. The foul language these big kids use is also not appreciated when at the park with your two year old who repeats everything bthey hear. It would also be nice if certain parents would not smoke in the park and deliberately ignore all the no smoking signs. Like you really need a sign to tell you not to smoke when your surrounded by children playing at the local park. Smarten up!

I love Andrew W. Pate park, and so does my son, but I feel I cannot give a 5 star rating. The park has no plaque! Who was Andrew Pate? Why is a park dedicated to him? I need a plaque to know the man!

Great space with two play structures and a swing set. Also a nice paved walking path.

They just gave the park a face lift. Wonderful for kids of all ages. My favorite part is that they added a basketball net.
