We're a cooperative owned by 200 family farmers, and in Grantsburg, you can try our award-winning cheeses and other products for yourself.

Story

Burnett Dairy Cooperative has been around for over 100 years. You can now experience our tradition through our unique markets and bistro. At our general store, you can get things like beer, fuel, and farming supplies. The retail store, however, has the cheese we make ourselves and fresh ice cream. It also has a bistro attached to it where you can try our products in actual dishes, like the Alpine-style cheese we feature in our sandwich, “the Wisconsin.” We’re a place for travelers. We’re a place for people who’ve lived here all their lives. But most of all, we’re a place that cares about supporting farmers and sharing their amazing work with everyone who visits us.

Burnett Dairy's Everyday Artisan line of cheese includes varieties that you can indulge on! We are recognized world-wide for our string cheese.

Wood River Creamery's well known for it's unique "Alpha's Morning Sun" - our unique alpine-style cheddar cheese. We offer this in many varieties.

Fancy Brand is our foodservice cheese - perhaps you will find our shredded, diced and sliced cheeses at your favorite restaurant!
