Decent course with generous fairways. The greens were in good shape. Fun track to play. The pace of play could have been quicker but still got done in 4.5 hours.
The staff are always personable and accommodating at this golf course. For a mid level course, I always find the track playable and the greens fast and true. It was a pleasure to play here today and for an added bonus we beat torrential rain because we finished in less than 4 hours.
I’ve been playing at this course regularly couple of years now…the price increase this year is ridiculous especially with the state it is in. I understand there is a drought but courses around are in much better condition and charging less. I understand prices have to be competitive based on demand but the fees are shocking for the quality you receive this season. Unfortunately 8 regulars won’t be returning this year.
Love the course BUT… Marshalling is a bit excessive! Seems to cater to regulars who seem not to care to play holes in sequence! Groups appear and disappear randomly. The game is for leisure not a race! Let’s relaxe a bit!
Excellent golf course for the money The! Weekday rates are in the range of $42 to $45. The golf course is in excellent condition. The putting greens are well-mainntained with plenty of challenging slopes/breaks to navigate. The fairways and first cut of rough were a beautiful lush green colour even during the summer heat. There is a wonderful variety of long and short holes to challenge you. Many holes are lined with mature trees, which really enhances the beauty of this course. If you hit a ball out of bounds, it is possible to find it given that the fairways are fairly wide. There are not many densely wooded areas where you could lose your ball...mostly small trees that are spaced apart for easier ball searching!
For the money fantastic course. Not overly long but long enough. Has challenging holes and holes you can score on. Has drive range bonus. Greens always in good shape, some have big slopes #4,#15. Old school pro shop speaker who's on deck. Personally they could cut down the huge tree in the middle of the fairway #7.Cheers.
Great course and professional staff. Fast greens today, fun and challenging. Please move your trees though, they keep getting in the way of my wayward drives off the tee... Will definitely be back either way. Great value.
Great course conditions and very good value. My only complaint was that the sand in the bunkers were hard panned. Felt like I was hitting into pavement. Hope they rototill them sooner than later. Definitely will be back.
Good challenging course for an avid golfer. Well managed and grounds are in top condition. One thing tho of concern is the driving range running parallel with the driveway coming in off Cedar Springs Rd. There is no netting in place to keep an arrant shot from hitting any vehicle coming or going. My pristene Cadillac now has a sizable dent in the roof. Golfers beware, it can be very costly to golf at Burlington Springs. Not sure I'll tempt fate with another visit until something is done to the reduce the risk. UPDATE! I did bring it to the attention of Brad? in the pro shop when signing in. It was simply brushed off and I was informed my insurance would be happy to cover the repair. Wrong! Deductible applies and that would bring about a claim likely to increase everyones auto premium including yours. If you, the owner, indicates in your reply that it is an extremely rare event and that is indeed true then it should not be a problem for the corporate to compensate. And, at a minimum rethink your 'direction of drive' when it comes to the driving range if netting is not a fit. Seems to be that everyone using that range is swinging to correct bad habits, mostly a slice putting every vehicle using that driveway at risk. I'll post again with the final results.
Sorry guys. Great course but if your not a pro they expect you to move I lost 4 holes because Steve thought I was slow. But yet nobody was behind us. If you Luke pressure thus is a amazing course
