It seems like this place is peaceful and quiet, I deliver Pizza there maybe once or twice a day, every time I go there it seems like it's peaceful quiet to take it's clean.
I just felt compelled to write an HONEST review from an adult! I was shocked to read some of these 1,2 and 3 star reviews. I have owned a home since Oct 1999. I am one of the first 10 residents here and I would never even think of only giving Burkhart Ridge a star or two! We are in Howell.....Livingston county... in a very hot real estate market. I live here for approx. $1,100/mo and that is with a great lot, large deck, super sized garage, 6 parking spaces, etc. If the owners & managers did not do their job this place would be slum town in no time! This is a beautiful manufactured housing community NOT a trailer park!!! If you want to get away with creeping around, letting the routine maintenance go on your home, shed and/or lawn go, consistently park in streets, having oil stains in driveways, allow blinds and curtains to be sloppy and broken then please.........MOVE to Howell Estates. These homes and communities need to be managed to keep them nice and Mike and Janie do a good job! Yes summer of 2020 was rough for many of us with the pandemic and Mike went a little overboard with having Janie walk around and do write ups I got a couple too but they were reasonable and I respect them keeping our community nice and safe
Seems like a well kept and quiet place to live
Most of these reviews are from people who didn't live here. The 1 stars are all correct. Obsessive, unprofessional staff who will constantly harass tenets over minutia. And as was mentioned before, they'll tow your friends car just for visiting. The community is friendly enough as far as neighborliness standards in 2020 go. That's the main highlight. They called the cops on me once for taking a stroll. So if you move here understand that you will be on semi-house arrest. Drive to the nearby state land if you want to take a walk. And again: Their staff are horribly rude. It's hard to believe they're real people. Real people are nice.
Very nice park! If you don’t mind dealing with the childish owners, and the front desk lady that has nothing better to do than measure grass, mark dog poop, and ruin lives. Make sure you power wash your house weekly. Stain your three stairs into your trailer bi-weekly. Don’t let your door on your 5x5 shed get a scratch on it. Whatever you do, DO NOT have a friends stay a few days at your place. if The owners don’t like the look of their cars they will have it towed from the clubhouse or even your driveway within 2 days with no notice. 2 star trailer park with a fake 4.2 star rating.
Management keeps the property impeccable! Snow is plowed routinely all winter and the grounds, pool, playgrounds and fitness area are well maintained. I highly recommend this property/community. It's quiet and family friendly.
As far as clean it’s nice. As far as management goes. Not very professional at all. You are basically dealing with a spoiled brat running daddies business. Typical tell you what you want to hear, until your in. Then nothing but hassles on the silliest things. And I have paid over 40k in lot rent since being here. Never once late. But the guy makes every situation difficult with childish BS. Even towed a legitimate car just purchased. From a guy who’s lived here longer than me. Before he could even get down to the Secretary of State for plates. Buyers beware. I could go on and on. I’m a handicapped individual, and he has called the police on me 3 times so far. No arrests. And even the cops laugh about how often he tries to sick them on people.
Erine was extremely unprofessional. We arrived for a consultation after specific instructions on the phone to be shown modulad home models and information about the community. He proceeded to show us to a sitting area where there was no information available. No pamphlets or pictures to show. He simply sat us down and started asking about our job history. We explained that one of our tenants was sick for a period of time so he wasn't employed for 2 months. He laughed at us and berated us telling us that he didn't think that we were qualified. Yet he wasn't the finance person who was even qualified to tell us that. He also started making comments like "oh so you didn't like your job?" It's none if his business the reasons why we had to leave a job. Things happen. People get better opportunities or relocate. I could not believe how rude and unprofessional he was being towards us. We even tried to get him to show us a modular home to get a better idea and explained that 1200 square feet wasn't enough for us. How would he know what would be right for us? That's so ridiculous. Then we asked him if he simply didn't want to show us and he explained since it would be 6 months before we were "more serious" about purchase that it didn't make sense. The whole point we came to get information is because we were very serious and people look into purchasing homes long before 6 months before their leases are up. Ernie needs to be terminated from his position. I pray no one else has to go through the discrimination and unprofessional behavior that we had to endure from this man. I refuse to believe that he didn't discriminate against myself and my family. Our financial status may not be great but it is definitely not the worst. I'm just sick to my stomach over this whole ordeal. I don't understand how people can actually physically laugh at people and withhold information just because you feel like we aren't a good fit. It's not his job to decide that. It's the banks job to tell us weather or not we qualify to live in your community. I'm so sick to my stomach. Worst service I've ever experienced. Period.
Iv lived here a year or so,, and just love to feed the deer in my back yard,,and all the wild life that comes right to my back deck,,It,s so peacefull and quit,,the birds are the loudest nosie you hear,,great lighting at night and a sence of safty around you and your family , with a pool and many other things to do,,I like having my Dogs pull me on my Bike all the way around the park,,over a mile easy,,my room mate walks hafe way around and is tired in no time,,LOL. well I,m still new here but it,s very nice ,I,m happy to be here,,,and your so close to all the main Hwy.s to Detroit 96 ,,and M59 to 23 and 23 to 75 Up or down to any where ??? well C ya,,
