We stopped here on our way to western Pennsylvania. The server, Josh, was helpful and friendly. We all had Wagner's pear cider, which we all enjoyed. We started with the sautéed mini pierogies which were delicious and the sautéed onions were so delicious. I had the pulled pork sandwich and I upgraded to the waffle fries. They were seasoned and very good. My friends had the chicken cheesesteaks which they enjoyed. The prices were good and I liked the atmosphere . We would stop here again.
Nice place. Comfortable setting in a bar atmosphere. Food was excellent. Drinks were made very well. Service was good. The pricing of the food and drinks was more than acceptable. I had heard a lot of negative things but I have to say I witnessed none of them. It was a great evening and I would recommend it.

We called and placed a pick up order for 2 of the same burger. The website says $11.99 a piece with $1.99 to sub out for fries. We got charged $17 for 1 burger and $12.99 for another then $5.99 for fries. The fries were terrible, the burgers were ok but when I called to find out what happened My man picked it up, not me the woman had an attitude. Their prices on their website don't reflect actual prices, food is mediocre and customer service was not good. As a server and someone who's worked in this industry I'm just disappointed. Would never order from here again.
3 visits here. The food is good. Especially liked their pretzel sticks. Don't like that they add $2.50 credit card fee.
Burke’s is a long standing local tavern that is really well known in the area. It was myself and my fathers first time here and it was very good food. We got a chicken cheesesteak and burger. Both were great only I would skip the very small bag of chips next time and pay for the fries. The reason for the 3 stars however was that the waitress didn’t really seem like she wanted to be serving I can live with that, been there but the cook/chef came out mid service and had gloves on which he kept on going back and forth a few times. Made me question cleanliness of the place. Also imo napkin containers at the table being dirty makes me question this more. But it is what it is. A bar and a lot of beer and some good grub. Would definitely really recommend!!!!

Burgers, wings, cheesesteaks and waffle fries all on point. Glad we stopped here.
Cold beer, great food for less $ than you could imagine. Staff was awesome. Went there twice in our 4 days in the Poconos. Ate outside on the patio, but the inside was setup real nice as well. Oh, and clean restrooms which usually says a lot!
