Burger Time Express

Clean and fast! BUT I knew I was in trouble when I asked for a hamburger medium rare. I was indignantly informed "we don't do that here". Well I learned why. Because they don't cook the hamburgers here! They take out a factory prepackaged precooked hamburger, pop it in the microwave and viola! I was thinking here I am in a small town and I'm sure this will be better than McDonalds. Well it costs more ($7 for a processed precooked thin cardboard patty on a bun) and a self serve station where you put your own ketchup and pickle on. A far cry from fresh quality!

Very cute burger place! If you're in Mackay, I recommend! The staff is really nice and they have good quality food!

The food is good, Plus I have had excellent,competent service, the ice cream is my favorite. I enjoy looking at the View of the Mountains ,and Park across the street ,as there is a seating area both sides of the front door.

I can't say I would recommend this place. Perhaps it was an unusual night, but the staff was rude, and the service was very slow. Food was not bad but mediocre. Find another place.

This joint is a quiet sleeper but watch out! The big time burger is here and it packs a delicious punch. It's the keystone of Mackay food for burgers fries and shakes
